How come there are so few LIKES? The new song arrangement is even better than before. This song is the reason I started playing YS 3 back in SNES. Since then, I started to like and play all the YS Series.
You... can't be serious. SNES and NES actually missed the second part of the song. NES was total garbage, SNES was pleasant...right until they forgot to port second half of the song that makes this song amazing.
I was hesitant to start Ys as I suck at arpgs but I decided to give this one a go after so many people says it’s their favourite. I still suck and have to try a few times before beating the boss on easy difficulty but this track really made me excited to play more
The game gets even better as well! I can't stand the text scenes in Ys, but it has some of the best gameplay. It's like the action is so tight that it's a timed puzzle of some sort. I've played Origins and 3 so far, and both have kept me on my toes to the very end.
It is good, but not the best version. Top three for me would be 1. PC-Engine CD, 2. Sega Genesis, 3. X68000 (close to 2nd) and this version (not that close).
@@walidbigboss3465 this version lacks the power the other versions have. This one gives more of a soft, nostalgic vibe. The others give a more vibrant feel, a need to fight to protect. Might be an adequate version for TOiF but definitely not the best if you compare it to the others.
@@davidcook9875 look, never played any Ys game besides de NDS version BUT I can say that this song in PC engine version is superior but PSP/PC version goes second! both are extremely good so is kinda unfair trash talking to people that are just spitting facts xD
Falcom games and their amazing overworld music.

Basically anything that isn't Singa
@@Q-gf8vb go away Singa hater
@@Q-gf8vb Surprisingly enough, Singa's overworld music is actually also amazing. It's his event and battle themes that are less stellar.
Peak rendition of this classic, love the Jindo electronic style, powerful and joyful. Truly fitting song for the full of wonder Red-Haired Swordsman.
That violin is godly!
This ost hits hard!
Iconic track, really like the violin and edm percussion. The melody is simply amazing.
This song is so good!
Song plays pretty dang early in the game and I knew right then and there that yup, this was going to live up to the hype.

The song is for listening, not for buttonspamming
SNES version sucks though
I loved this track on the SNES. So... this is bliss to my ears many years later.

Awesome
This sound lives on in Iclucian Dance from VIII!
Yeah, they do sound similar!

Love this game and song. Just imported ys memoires for switch!

Love the PCE-CD version and this version. It's like two children who have completely different personalities but both share the same excellent DNA :)
The start of something amazing. Thank you Falcom.
La banda sonora de Ys simplemente es brutal
Time for adventure!
It's a shame you don't hear that much of it in-game, after you get the ability to warp.
If this game can rebuild in switch .. i think that's wonderful
best one
Wanderers From Ys version: only plays once in a very brief cutscene.
Oath in Felghana: That's cute. (Makes it the main overworld theme)
Less a cutscene and more the exterior of the first dungeon area.
So so wrong, it plays in the entrances of every dungeon. At least in the PC-88 version which is the only version I've played and finished
This plays at the end of Ys 5 as well.
First level is always epic!
Cat God tasked me with grooving to this jam
truely a blessing

here from a webtoon for some reason...
Me too, buddy. Me too.
Which one???
This > modern ys
Who is here because of 3 kids and a girl turned cat?
Yup. Who knew a furry and 3 children would hum a niche song from pop culture in a forest
Wait, what are you talking about?
Uhhhh explain?

X68000 version sounds pretty poor tbh
@@GiordanDiodato Wasn't it only a brief cutscene song in the X68000 version?
Similar as Wanderers, this versión is way more worked and Violín as main instrument is just brutal in my opinión.
@@CaptainJarkes idk since I don't own an X68000
The trashy Eurobeat style of this arrangement is so unpleasant compared to the PC-Engine CD version, what a mishandling of a great track.
