The spiders in executioners entrance are a damn good option too, lots of them and they regularly drop Ichor. Usually get at least a couple hundred ichor per run. (Plus brimstone, iron, silver/gold & boss loot.) This is also a great thrall levelling run
On Siptah, most of the bosses in the vaults drop Abysmal Flesh if you hit them with a cleaver. There are a lot of komodos around lakes on the northeastern island. In addition, ichor drops in the chests in several vaults. Spiders are common on the bluffs outside the blasted area at the center, as well.
Did you try using the sickle? In my experiences, using it on komodos and salamanders is a better choice over pick/axe, it tends to give you waaay more ichor.
cook the abysmal flesh, then (if you dont plan to eat it) put the cooked flesh in the fluid press. once enough of it rots it'll press for an extra ichor. pressing putrid meat on its own isnt good, but using it as an extra sourse from any spare meat you have and dont plan to use isnt bad.
My ichor farming strategy is just putting every single meat I get, uncooked, in the fluid press (minus one type I cook and eat). They rot, then once enough rotten meat gets gathered up, produces ichor automatically. This is especially useful for me in Siptah, since I can get a ton of random flesh from any vault, but it would work just as well in the Exiled Lands. It's not a "farming" method per se, but a very very convenient way to dispose of all the meat I get and get enough ichor, over time. It's enough for me to not have to farm it actively, and what more can anybody ask for, really? :)
That’s a 50 to 1 transfer. It would take you 30k rotten meat to get 600 ichor which you can get from killing the Komodos in the beginning of the dungeon.
Some thoughts: - I prefer the hatchet/pickaxe for harvesting, it gives you more ichor and less bones/chitin. - I really like Weaver's Hollow/Scuttler's Shortcut because you have a bit of everything: Aloe, Ichor, Chitin, Crystals, Gossamer, and with the Demon Spider boss you get a Skeleton key and Demon Blood as well. - Komodo dragons also spawn in the jungle area, so if running to the Dregs is too far of a travel and you don't have a map-room, you can go there instead. The Passage and the Silkwood are also very good.
Plenty of building pieces need stone consolidant (needing ichor) with black ice being the easiest to farm means the black ice buildings are going to be the only building to use. Funcom need to sit down and take a look at this game.
There's also komodo dragons spawning on the island with the lake in it on the border of j/k5. And you forgot the easiest way to get ichor. Fishtraps. Cooking the unappetizing shellfish/fish gives you 1 ichor for each. If you combine it with some presses, throw the other fish in the presses to make oil and let all the crabs and cooked fish decay in the press for some extra ichor. While building I tend to make like 30 or even more fishtraps, that keeps me supplied with ichor easily. This works so well, I can't remember the last time I farmed for ichor.
@@wak4863 No, am on PS4 and there it still makes ichor with the unappetizing. Maybe I should be happy with us on console always being months behind with patches. But I now understand why you posted that video, a lot of ppl wouldn't know about alternative ichor sources. Also, you might want to add (don't know if it still works in 2.1) but a lot of the venom glands in the fluid press make ichor as well, but most are on a 20 to 1 ratio if I'm correct.
@@wak4863 yeah, especially with the food/healing im gutted about it. Makes so many recipes but also their ingredients totally useless. And for the potions you just need the same few ingredients for all of them. Like I said, maybe for once happy to wait a bit longer for a new patch. The new building set is awesome though, could have used that with my current dracula castle build.
That is the under water temple area. You get there via a small boat in the jungle, on the shore next to where the witch queen lair is. It is where you go for the Dagon stuff.
Thx for the Video, but it's kndia incomplete. What about the spider in the executioner entrence? There are pretty ez to kill and the cave gives brimstone and iron ontop. You don't want to cook abyssmal flesh, cause it's the best food for a grown (greater) Sabretooth and Wolf to raise Str while leveling. If you are playing on pvp server, farm ichor from the sand reaper for additional poison and the salamander (explosiv orb->for raiding sand castles).
I think FireSpark81 did a video showing that no attributes but Vitality has and effect on thrall & pet stats. Therefor zero strength, and 300 strength do the same weapon damage. Vitality is the only attribute that modifies followers HP. If he has done a mew video, I don't recall.
Yeah, there are a plenty of spider spawns, and executioner's cave as a whole is filled with spiders. Also there are a lot of spiders around Weaver's hollow and the river. (And this video is not about pets, it is about getting ichor.)
@@KonFess debunked, cause there is no video within the last 3 months. At the very moment, Conan Exiles is patched/fixed every few days. Mostly cause of Siptah, but there are so many changes that every video older than 2months is in danger of being totally outdated. Using a sabretooth while riding in Siptah is Open-PvP Meta (Thrall for Raidings, cause only humans can equip protection against Gas). A level 20 sabretooth with high str, will take half of players HP and stamina from the horse with just one jump attack.
@@wak4863 The Boss in the "Dregs" is my favortie source for Abysmal flash. Just bring starmetal cleaver or better. Currently it’s not working as intended, but it is changing from what you have now it will be only exotic fish that produce ichor and fishing is no longer passive you have to bait your traps.
You should be using the hatchet 100% even in 2020 the chances of getting ichor were much higher with the hatchet. I’m actually shocked that you didn’t demonstrate the difference between the hatchet and pick in this video.
so the dragon things are better than sand reapers? theres a spot somewhere on the map that has a lot of them but i forget where its at but they in the sand, im also not very strong so i need to be careful and im solo
I didn’t know the trick for cooking abysmal flesh, cool! Also, I’m loving Phoenix’s new outfit. Tres chic!
Been working on a new one for like two weeks. Might settle on this one for a while. 😉

Thanks Wak. also one other place you can look is spider caves. Including the one with boss spiders in them as well. It's where I usually go.

Welcome!
FYI the abandoned silver mines hold an amazing amount of Scorpions and give quite a bit
Another very useful video. Thank you, Wak
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah there’s nothing in the game files to support that one is better then the other so use what you like. 👍
@@wak4863 I edited my comment to put more of my thoughts :) You're probably right! Keep up the good work I love it
Large Island on the East Side of J-5 around the little pond on it has komodo dragons and a 1 skull human spawn around the lake
Death whisper ruins has a tunnel under it full of spiders and brimstone, best fill up spot
axe on komodos gived me Ichor every time whilst chopping up their bodies, bones too
Using the hatchet actually has a higher chance of dropping ichor.
You guys ever try a skinning knife? On bugs you get a lot of ichor
10:20 One! Komodo dragon... 2! Komodo dragon.. ah ah ah. 3! Komodo dragon!
Flash backs to the Count from Sesame Street. 😉
I just run skittering cavern, 1 run is an easy over 600 ichor for a quick trip, harvesting spiders using starmetal pickaxe with tool kit

so. . . where do we find Komodos on the new Isle of Siptah map?
Can you do a video about Bows? I enjoy hunting from afar and letting my Greater Bear tank for me.

I’m guessing you’re not on PC. Fish don’t produce ichor yet in update 2.1 and when they do it will be exotic fish that produce it not unappetizing.

Can you do a comparison with using a pickaxe versus a sickle? I use Sickle on Salamanders, use to get 100+ off 6 or so.
Meanwhile, the improved shellfish trap still has no tangible benefit over the regular one.
5:29 where the heck is "in here"?

I'm using spiders, they drop it every time in nice quantities
Where are you at on the 6min mark?
The underwater dungeon.
Where are those slugs for #5? you just kept saying: down here. I thought I knew the exiled lands really well but that looks new to me.
They are in the sunken city dungeon.
If you harvest scorpions with a sickle, you'll either get ichor only or nothing. Not nearly as much, but if you happen to live near them its worth it.
Of course that may have changed since I last tried 🙄
I normally wipe out the reapers north of black galleon and pickaxe then. Did they reduce the rate of ichor from normal dand reapers?
Not sure if they reduced the rate from sand reapers, I know they increased the rate from spiders and reduced the rate from salamanders.
Is farming unsavory fish and cook it on pit still yield Ichor?
Not after update 2.1 which is only live on PC right now.
