Ooh, what a clever girl you are! Love the tag idea as a variation of the house. Very cute. And such a neat idea to make one of your own house! I'm definitely going to do that. Thanks so much.
Thank you! I'll tell you, it was really fun to snap that photo of my own house and then try to re-create it in paper. I noticed things about the roof lines that I'd never noticed before! Thanks for watching, and have fun!
I would make 3 chickens to be in the yard next to your house. And i think i would put some shine specks of jewels on the ground near them. Maybe flowers and clouds! My brain could go on and on....... Live them!!!
I'm so delighted you like them. I was really excited about the idea when it popped into my head! Of course the original inspiration was from Natasa at Treasure Books - it just occurred to me to turn it into a pocket/tag combo. Have fun making yours, you'll love it!
They are so cuuuuuuute! Absolutely brilliant! You're combining a hidden journal card with a whimsical house. Love it so much! Can't wait to try it! I'm behind in watching your videos, missed a couple, so I hope to get caught up over the weekend, depending on what I have going on. Thanks for the fun inspiration!
Jennifer, you really made my day. This was a video that didn't get much play when I posted it, but I did love the project. I was thrilled when you asked to see it! And now you know what my house looks like! Thank you!
@@annekenlon some of the folks from Gayle's channel would also like this video. If you feature that journal again in an upcoming video, refer to that page and say to folks - if they would like to know how I made this "secret" journaling spot I have linked the video below. Barbara from 49 Dragonflies does this a lot and I believe it helps your channel grow, which would be brilliant because you have excellent ideas well executed.
I’m enjoying binge watching your videos! I’m really loving the whimsical aspects. Funny you should mention the name of Art Glitter Glue. I get a wild hair sometimes and just look up “things.” So I was looking at the Art Glitter website earlier this week. From what I remember, the company used to Have “Institute” in its name, either art institute, or art institute glitter. I really don’t remember if the word glue was ever in its name. I think it was because why else do we all call it Art Glitter Glue! So imagine my surprise when I discovered the name of the company has changed! Apparently, the owner, Barbara Trombley, has seen the error of her ways, and it now goes simply by Art Glitter. No more institute, and no more glue in its name. And it refers to itself as adhesive. I guess enough people quizzed her about it that she decided to make the change. So Art Glitter adhesive now! It’s gonna be real hard to make the adjustment!
That's a lot of interesting research, Donna Jo! Thanks for sharing. As a retired marketing/communications professional, I have to say I am very glad I was NOT in on any of those meetings of Ms. Trombley's branding team! But I will probably always buy the glue!
Hello!! I usually use Distress Ink (Ranger/Tim Holtz brand) in "Vintage Photo." I also use "Walnut Stain" - both are great browns that mimic the look of aged paper nicely. Walnut Stain is a bit darker - good for a grungier look. Hope that helps!
Wow! Love these houses and your idea to make the roof a journaling tag in the base of the house. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Patricia! I had so much fun thinking this one up and bringing it to life _ I'm so glad great folks like you are still enjoying it!
Hi Anne, Really cute idea for the whimsical houses. I may have to give it a try. TFS. Take care. I will see you next time 😊🤗❤
I'd love to see your spin on this, too, Patty!

So adorable! Thanks for sharing...I may adapt it for a Christmas card! 🥰🇨🇦
Super idea! Yes, a little Christmas wreath on the door or a tree in the window would be super cute. I'm sure I'll make more myself.

What color of distress ink do you use for outlining? Thanks. Anxious to try some of your projects.😊
