That big of a span for a load bearing wall would likely be best to install a steel beam, not wood. Better to overdue it than underestimate the load and the the second floor collapse. You're an awesome inspiration to us all. Keep it up 💪👍👍✌️
Yup! A steel beam is definitely in the consideration!
Nice! Great work. Can't wait to see what it looks like with the wall removed.
Just found this channel and I think I m going to enjoy watching.
Great to have you!
Looks so much more open! So awesome!
Oof, nice work. 👍🏼
I’ve done those beams in the past, you may need footings on either side of the beam for load.
More fun going through the floor.😕 makes a huge difference ,when it’s done..😍
🤙🏼💪🏼
Yup. Will be needing to cut the concrete and put in footings. Shouldn’t be too bad of a job. Having access to the right tools makes a big difference.
@@LivingOnWheels totally!, access to (the right) tools is priceless.
👍looking good 👍
Hurry up and get this project done so you can build another 7.3.
Trust me I’m working as fast as I can. A guy in a wheelchair can only renovate so fast haha. I’m ready to be working on trucks again too. But if you want to donate a 7.3 I’d be happy to make videos on it 🤷🏻♂️
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 beast
Looking good. Header need to be double 9 inch LVL...
The one going in will actually be quite a bit bigger than that. Going off engineered plans from a contact. Should be good and solid
