Each fighter had its own advantage and disadvantages and specific usage. There are many advantages with JF-17 like the range of its PL missile, operational cost is low since is is single engine, smaller in size so that it can escape from radar up to some extend etc.
However the the advantages of Rafale and Su-30 are twin engine, so that it can carry almost double weight than JF-17 ( weapons and extra fuels, more hard points etc). Twin-engine fighters are safer than single engine fighter. If one engine failed, the pilot can manage to land with other engine. However, operational cost of twin-engine jet is very high. Therefore, it is not possible to keep all fighter jets as twin-engine. Also, it may requires Radar-absorbent paints for a bigger fighter for escaping from radar which is also costly.
The type of fighter jet has to be used is based on what type of mission has to be achieved. for example, if the fighter jet has to fly a long distance and has to cover a wider area, twin engine is better as it can carry more fuel. Mid air refueling a fighter from enemy territory is not an option since refuelling planes can be shoot down easily. On the other hand single engine fighter is best for daily patrolling and many other purpose. Certain mission cannot be achieved nighther by twin-engine nor by single engine fighter. In this case take off fighter from an aircraft carrier may fulfill the need.
In a broader way, operating any fighter is costly. A war is too expensive, especially if it is long term. Apart from that multiple influencing factors like economy, alternate communication mechanism, oil production and oil reserve, road and rail coverage, sea ports and airport terminals, other merchant machines/ships, support from other countries etc.
The after effect is millions of death in both side, millions of brave sacrifices in both side for their nation. The country will go years backward in terms of living standard, human development etc.

In my opinion Pakistan should try to get more F-16s from the US, as our pilots are already operating F-16s. The modern block of F-16 can easily counter the Raphael plane.

Well pakistani 70+ f16s will serve PAF for more 20 years guaranteed. So for that period, we can only focus on JF17 and project AZM. So you are wrong, we will not be using only jf17s.
After 20 years, Paf will retire majority of f16 (but not block 52s). And we will have stealth as well as different variants of jf17s and we can then think to induct any other jets. But for now on, our focus should be jf17 b3 and b4 (b4 adter 5 years). And AZM in 10 years.
SO NO, WE SHALL NOT BE USING ONLY JEFFs.

The emphasis should primarily be upon the weapons rather than platform. If we integrate RA'Ad & PL-15 to JF-17's delivery package, what need is there to buy another aerial platform?
It all boils down to radar, weapons (Ground/Air), engines, and skills.

We don't have our own economic system, we're living in banking credits and leasing systems, and life standards and needs are growing, we still have only one earner per house who feed entire family, under pressure limited purchasing power

Thank for lovely video, since few days I was in anxiety to see ceremony of advanced armaments & interception functions of rafael handed over to India.
But your suggested / policy of wait for AZM is not very secure. I think we cannot wait more than a year now to get ample number of 4.5 ++ fighter jets asap. Bcz our Block 3 versions of JF17's supply will grateful certainly take much longer time to be complete delivery, exercises and sufficiency of numbers. Further their would be external orders as well for block 3, so on production line their will be huge pressure as well.

PL15 certainly has a longer range than Meteor. However it's propeller is not ramjet. So while Meteor with its ramjet has same Mach speed throughout its tragectory, the PL15 looses it's speed and therefore is easy to evade by a fighter jet like Rafale. PL15 maybe good for a slower targets like awacs or refueling ircrafts.Any comments?

To be honest really happy to see a proper opinion of Rafaels they are indeed good fighter jets. Now on what pakistan can do i would the procurement and planning team of pakistan army have always been efficient in this matter from make sure to upgrading their fleet to starting and properly finishing new projects. By now they mist already have a game plan.

Thanks for your feedback. SU30MKI was shot down by PAF F16s. and same is the case with Mig21. Pak hasn't displayed or shared any SU30MKI Tail (real one) as the MKI fell down in Kashmir.
