We have the Kampa Ace Air 400 and it is a very good awning. Thanks for taking the time to put together a useful and informative guide to the Ace Air Pro.
Do you mean the kedar strip that connects the awning to the van? Is so then the awning has two kedar strips as mentioned in the video. According to the catalog one is 5mm and the other is 7mm, which I believe are the two industry standards so it should work with most vans etc. If you are actually going to measure the rail on the side of your van then it's the INNER channel diameter you need to measure not the slot and I'm pretty sure it is a mm or so larger than the kedar strip. The slot is narrower so you don't want to measure that. Hope that helps. Dave
@@DTSquared yes, is the kedar the welting which feeds into the awning rail on a trailer? I bought the awning and I have a vintage trailer and live in the USA and need to replace the rail to fit the awning.

You're welcome. I'm glad it was of help.
Excellent video just purchased the 2022 model and this will be a huge help when erecting it this week
Thanks for posting
You're welcome. There's another video I posted about packing it up which you may find helpful
Can you tell me the diameter of the rail that is needed for the awning to feed into? Is it 8mm or 7mm?
