Nice video! Yeah, the 171 was a pretty long route, so I guess it makes sense that TFL decided to curtail it, though I think Elephant & Castle was a bit too far. Aldwych or Waterloo would have probably maintained most of the useful links whilst cutting the route to perhaps a more reliable length.
