I agree, it's so much more interesting and informative listening and getting into conversations with people!
For sure, as an English teacher I try to get students to incorporate the language to their every day lives, like watching movies, or reading books or comics in English, sometimes I even recomend changing the language settings on their phones and stuff

@@Vikkibro90 Kanade and Subaru are semi-fluent in English, it's just that they don't have as much vocabulary as Lui, Haachama & Ririka do so they don't stream in English on their own like those 3 do

P much. The Japanese use of English for the cool factor and often dubious grasp of its finer nuances has been producing memetic gaffes since _at least_ the Occupation.

Gen 4's 5th Anniversary is this year. Everyone knows Coco. It's my wish that in December off stream the remaining four meet up with the fifth and go party.

For "passion" level whenever she does try and pronouce stuff it's usually pretty solid
@@Skelyosyou can really tell she tries hard. If calli is there, she knows she has a safety net, but I doubt someone as passionate and as hard-working as Towasama would rely on that crutch.
@@NicoDoesLP Absolutely, I am pretty sure she does her absolute best to learn the pronounciationan is probably making an effort. The hardest in Japanese is the "L's" and the "R's" as most Asian languages derived from Manadrin don't involve the tongue in that particular way
I remember watching a clip of her absolutely gush about having lunch with Coco after all these years (it's been two years since that graduation. i guess she was a little shy but boy was she proud to show off how she had grown.)
I just hope she learns enough by hanging out with Calli, Bae and Irys, and even Ina, Mumei, and other English speaking that she can surprise that delin... oops dragon. and I do hope the whole lot get together for their 5th anniversary. As a gen they all really did contribute to the growth of of Hololive they all sounded off of Coco in their own way and created and still create exciting content. Towa found her niche with FPS'ing, Watame is a troll and never does anything wrong. Kanata, well she's just a gorila after all these years. and the princess from what I understand is she drives a hog (Harley Davidson) - how's that for a contradiction, the princess is a Harley chick

Kanatan sings like an angel, gets trolled hard by her mama, Luna babubabu princess bad at game, but drives Harley anyway so she can still run you over even if not in game. As a side note of Holobaby, Luna and Miko Japanese are perfectly understandable to me, but I still can't 100% hajime...
I kinda love how Mumei is usually described as dressing pretty casual.

Possibly, but not necessarily. It seems like most of, if not all, EN and ID are in Japan right now. There’s four 3D debuts for Advent. I don’t know if they’ll also try to get ReGloss things done. This time gives them a lot of interactions outside of their 3D debuts.
Kaela is one obvious choice for Biboo. I would expect Baelz over Mumei. Maybe Lui-nee.

@@SergioBonilla1 They have free time around the same time, and from what Towa was saying its clear she is in several collabs with the EN/ID members thus being around them often. I guess we could wait and see if Mumei and Biboo would be hanging out a lot more often in Japan, that would mean they have similar schedules. Then again the EN group likely do have similar schedules except for those with other projects ongoing

If I had to hazard a guess - I think this year, maybe around October at earliest but maybe November - we may get the 1st Holo ID Concert Live somewhere in Jakarta. Its really kind of sus for the HoloID members to be in Japan and COVER to not be planning something big like a concert.

Honestly thats really a unique aspect of Hololive that they actually feel like they engage the international market as well as that their branches don't have such barriers with each other and really feeling connected instead of being sperated. i haven't really seen any other bigger Vtuber companies managing to really replicate this to the same extend..

Ye idk if its on purpose but so many clothes in many asian countries have really weird english written on them, some of them are just bad google translations or random words, but some are literally just the manufacturers trolling.

Best way to learn a language is to have like full immersion and force yourself to speak. I think this will help Towasama become eigo jouzu.
Buying clothes with English on them is indeed dangerous, but with the expansive Internet at our fingertips, just googling the words you see will give a non-native speaker the warning they need, I imagine.
