Primal Council Raid Guide - Normal/Heroic Primal Council Vault of the Incarnates Boss Guide

Primal Council Normal and Primal Council Heroic guide! Primal Council is a council fight in the Vault of the Incarnates raid of Dragonflight. This boss guide for Primal Council will walk you through the important healer, tank and DPS raid mechanics you need to clear this Vault of the Incarnates raid boss.

You fight four bosses at once in Primal Council, they do not share a health pool and it's important to finish them at close to the same time to avoid their Convocation spells. Embar and Opalfang are melee bosses that need to be actively tanked, while Dathea and Kadros spam kickable spells at random targets. Tanks can trade Opalfang and Embar after Crush, and point Embar away from players.
Dodge earth pillars, and run blue lightning circles to the pillars to ground the lightning DoT off. Don't touch anybody with the Conductive Mark ring and stay clear of players that are heading for pillars- it spreads! Stack in Meteor Axe soaks (but not both of them) to share damage, and line them over extra pillars to clear them (more important on Heroic Primal Council).
During Primal Blizzard, step briefly into any fire pool to reset your frost stacks and prevent getting Ice Tombed. Break out any players who fail to do this.
Heroic Primal Council gets extra raid damage from active Earthen Pillars, and makes it deadly to be in both Meteor Axe soaks at once. It was a bad idea to begin with.

As always, kick = interupt. It does not have to be an actual rogue using the ability kick. Just like when they say hero, it can be timewarp or any other raid wide haste buff and does not specifically have to be a shamman using the ability heroism. The reason most people say kick, hero, or something short and one syllable is so that can be said quickly during raid, it is clear to avoid confusion even when a dozen people are talking, and everyone knows that a kick means interupt (which, unlike kick, is three syllables in - ter - upt, and can get easily lost and missed when several people are talking at once).
