Got mine - great but the AA battery adapter thing is complete trash and I can't believe they let it ship like that. Was just testing it out and the top cover is completely stuck inside the thing and thought I must've definitely done something wrong, no, it's actually the design lol. Found it in the manual but it's pretty vague. Looking at my needle nose a little more and more.
Thanks for the video. When you google the GLL3-330 CG model it shows the unit with a different hard case. Do you know if there is a difference or just a case handle?
Hmmm. Good question. When I searched it, it does show it coming with a Bosch stackable case on some sites. That’s most likely a promotional thing for that store at that time
@@builttoughtooltalk Thanks for the reply. After some research, I found that the units from 2018 to 2020 came with a fixed handle case and after 2020 they put it on a case similar to yours with a folding handle. Also, the charger style is different. On "old stock" ones the chargers are bigger.
There is a CG that includes a battery and charger as is this video but there is also a CGN available at some retailers which doesn't include the battery and charger.

I tested mine @ right at 150 ft with the LR8 receiver on a full sunny day and receiver detected it. Very strong beam.
