My gransmother had a cottage right by the golf course in Pugwash, spent lots of summers there as a kid and so dis ny kids for a little while and when she passed away and they sold the place my parents were able to get a trailer on land and we still have a place to go during the summer. I would love to someday retire there myself or just get a summer place there also.
I'm from Hants county so all cards on the table, I COULD have been pronouncing it wrong all my life, but I don't think you pronounce the H in Amherst. It's more like Amerst
Nice i enjoyed your Video, and i am a Nova Scotian who never hear about so much of what you saw and did. my working life kept me from visiting my Home province, having to work 7 days a week driving dump trucks and what ever came along, again thank you.
Beautiful videos....Ive lived in Amherst all my life and visited most of these places but you've made me want to visit again. Soo many beautiful spots we take for granted.
You did a fabulous job showing off this area, which is where I’m from! Thank you for your kind words. I feel blessed to call this area home(River Hebert)
Hi I am thinking of moving to River Herbert or Amherst - I am in my 50s would you recommend the area over New Glasgow area ? thank you so much hope you get this
Hi Andrew. Just wanted to say thanks for dropping by Art Lab when you were in Parrsboro. You’ve done a great job showing off so many of the reasons to love our town. Come back anytime! Cheers!
You won't be disappointed! The East Coast in general is just so beautiful! I live in Shubenacadie. About 12-15 mins away from the Halifax International Airport. Smack-dab between Halifax & Truro. Lol, I've got a wildlife park pretty much in my backyard! 🥰 Fun Tip: I live where we get the *"Highest Tides In The World."* And the beaches do not disappoint. Good Luck with everything! ❤️
Come to *Shubenacadie!!* We have an amazing wildlife park. There's a beautiful beach called Montague Beach about 40 mins away & it it's all white sand! There's so much stuff around this area. You'd have a fantastic time here! ❤
@@wanderpow Oops! I also forgot to mention that right where I live, we get *"The Highest Tides In The World!"* It might be a really great idea for a video! 🙃😄 Take care. 💖 👋
What a great informative video! Thank you so much. ❤
Thanks very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'd bet that it's. I grew up in NB so I never really heard how the locals say it.
@@wanderpow I spent all my summers growing up in Parrsboro which is
about 40 miles from Amherst . The h in Amherst is silent .
