- Cornish Crabber’s Shrimper 19 winter sailing and motoring in the Carrick Roads, Truro, Fal, Percuil and other rivers. Vids from November and December. It’s some of the most glorious time to sail, when the waters are empty, other than some frostbite dinghy races and other souls seeking a quieter sail. The 3rd reef proves useful in some of the blustery weather, although the biggest gusts still easily overpower a small boat like this.
I want one soo badly lol cool
Great video. Nice to see someone who knows how to hold their phone sideways when filming!
Wow, that’s lovely
That thumbnail looks a lot like Harry & Meg.
How many reef do you have in. Looks like a good time
Thanks! 2 reefs at the start of the vid, none in the middle and 3 reefs at the end of the video (was extremely gusty and forecast 45mph, so was grateful for the third).
@@chops I have a cornish shrimper 19 #916. I've only used one reef so far but your video reminds me I should put the lines on for the second reef. These boats are surprisingly pretty stable in high winds.
what did this boat run you?
diesel?
Yes, Yanmar 1GM10 inboard
