When I saw the title of the setup video for this series, I thought you would be doing 30,000 cows (3 x 10k cow sheds, or 10 x 3k cow sheds). I'm glad you explained the series name in this video. I've been wanting to do a dairy exclusive play through myself, but have yet to do it.
good luck with the 10,000 cows. just a heads up you are going to need somewhere around 45 million liters of tmr to be able to feed the cows for a full year. just a suggestion but i think it would be a good idea to get a factory that turns the slurry into solid fertilizer. save you money when planting and will have leftovers to sell for a nice revenue stream. you will have a lot of slurry. and i mean a lot. a bga would be a good option to use the slurry also.

1st thing I did with the open cattle pastures is add the grazing. That makes a huge difference in feed. I always use maize plus though so I take all the help I can get lol

I love fermenting silos and skips a lot of the work of bunker silos. I always had issues with bunkers. Silos are the way to go for easier feeding.
Definitely easier than packing the chaff in the bunkers!

Great info and suggestions, Dave! I do have a BGA but will def look for other uses for the slurry.
Think argsy had a pretty big cattle farm on one play through but not sure it was this big. Will be fun to see how this works out!
