Bang on how you described Carioca Heart “reminds me of” blend of Stephan Humbert Lucas and TT! This scent is not as sweet or mango-y as tons of others describe it as. You actually pay attention and describe scents honestly. I very much appreciate this.

About the new Kayali…Listen to me…Let me tell you something!😂 I bought a travel spray. My first thought on first spray was:Are we smelling the same thing ???? I got no bubblegum, no candy, no sweetness..at all! What I did get was ‘that’ note that I get from Mancera/Montale fragrances! I think you picked it up as some kind of earthiness. I washed it off. Being a glutton for punishment, I tried it again the next day!😁 This time I smelled some bubblegum. I decided to wait it out. ‘The’ note hung around for over an hour. Then it smelled very nice, almost beautiful! I just can’t wait as long as it takes for that note to disappear! I wanted to love it because I love Yum Pistachio so much. It’s a no for me and I was so disappointed 😢

Veronica, you hit the nail on the head regarding Carioca Heart. I like it but I'm sure it's worth all the hype. I blind bought it as soon as it came back in stock based a couple of UA-camrs. I did get 10% off but I do not think it is worth full price in my opinion.

Thank you for this honest and funny review! The Queen demands attention. I received a sample and it will be a pass for me. I bought a sample of blue madeleine and I initially didn’t like it. Will have to go back and try it again. I am intrigued with 14 Isla Coco , wavechild and Tilia , will be getting samples. I recently received the sample set of Private mood and berrylicious to me smells like watermelon. even if it doesn’t have watermelon in the note description it completely reminds me of the watermelon rind when you first spray into it and then as it dries down I get the sweet edible part of the watermelon. I love it. Seriously thinking it is full bottle worthy.

I liked carioca heart and their other perfumes smelled to my liking, but then I saw that they were posting stories on instagram about lavish launch party in russia. I cannot support a company who is breaking the unity with other West countries and companies against rage and violence for some thousands of roubles... Sad, but it's a no from me to the jusbox company.
I was thinking about Kayali Rock sugar, but as I saw the la belle comments, I droped it and bought burning cherry that I know I love. La Belle has some sharpness that don't let me enjoy the sweetness. :/

My country share a border with russia and Ukraine is just 2 borders away, we have been under russian rule too many times (includinf being in ussr) to ever forget that. Maybe when Wavechild matures, that opening will hang around double time🤞🏾! You might have to buy it to find out 😂. Vanilla Candy was not childish like I thought it would be. I was surprised. I sprayed Queen of Silk on my coat sleeve at the store. The next day I forgot about it and I was irritated by this smell and realized it was the Queen! I don't like it 😂

I loved Victoria Secret scents in the 90s and 2000s. my favorites were Vanilla Lace, Strawberries & Champagne, and Dream Angels Halo. I wore Body a few times. Beyond Paradise was a beautiful perfume. I very much appreciate these throwbacks.

I follow you because you love Amarige back in the day (my signature scent in early 90s), so I figured we have similar taste in scents. Now, you're telling me you wore VS Body a lot. This was my mid to late 90's go-to scent. My late teen scent was LouLou (Cacherel) and Lauren (RL) in mid 80's...curious what yours was. I agree with your take on Elysium. I love Roja (my fave is discontinued Ti Amo). They are truly masterpieces! Elysium had a great opening, but the dry down was such a let-down. I love Tilia -- not for everyday, but when I want a strong scent to wear. It's lovely. I don't care for Carioaca Heart -- not sure if it's the guava note. Would prefer this as a summer candle. ...Yes, Queen of Silk was forcing me to love it. I thought I did at first (lol) and after a few minutes, I regretted spraying her.

I tried Elysium Pour Femme at Neiman’s yesterday and I loved it! It definitely smells more designer than niche though, and therefore not worth the $300+ price tag (to me). I wish it was on my radar during the savings event though! I got Tobacco Honey by Guerlain instead and I love it!

I wish the Elysyum Pour Femme smelled as stunning as the look of the bottle. I almost blind bought that but got a scent sample from scent split. It def gave 2000s perfume vibes. Nothing major or different.

Hello Veronica, love you and your channel❤❤❤and I agree with you about Carioca, I've heard some influencers describing it as the most creamy, smooth mango fragrance. And I was so enamored by that beautiful description that I almost blind bought it, but it was sold out. I ended up buying 5ml decant and imagine my surprise when I smelled it and found no cream just that sharp boozy sweetness. I am still testing this perfume and being very careful not to overspray. For me its very unusual fragrance. Recently I tried Egyption Mango by Be Layered and I find it really creamy and fresh and not sweet at all. I would love to hear your opinion about some of new releases from that house. Thank you for your heard work and especially your humor❤

I found Elysium very underwhelming. It smells designer, it does not smell worth the eye watering price. A nod to J'adore. Can't say it smells bad but no chance am I buying it at that price.

It’s not paint, it’s a blue madelaine obviously from white chocolate with some blue food coloring that’s being dipped into a cup of tea. Even Marie Salemagne says what inspired her : « The olfactory expression of a souvenir during an afternoon tea at the villa, blending madeleine and black tea. »
It looked like paint to me on first glance, and I was joking about that. I didn't assume that it was literal paint. You may have taken my words too seriously.
Just got my Quattro Pizzi today. Sprayed it on to give myself a good solid wear. It smells like ALIEN on me!!! Now I know alien is a healthy dose of Jasmin and solar flowers. Maybe something they've mixed with the tuberose is giving it that Jasmin sense.
I don't hate it. I don't love it (yet) but I do feel that it may grow on me. There's an attractiveness about it for sure. It's almost a little creamy. It may be really nice in the heat. I can see the florals blooming in the heat. I was hoping it would be a good fragrance to take to Japan with me but I'm gonna vote no. It's a bit too powerful for that trip.

I must try the new Kayali. If you remember the old-school Juice Bar body sprays... They were more marketed towards young girls but I used to wear the Cotton Candy scent. The pink shade of the Kayali juice gives me a very similar vibe to the Juice Bar scents. I'm assuming Kayali is tapping into people's nostalgia for those scents.😃😍

Somewhere in that void between my ears seems to recall that years ago, Clarins made a perfume called Elysium. Expect it was discontinued years ago but I do remember wanting to buy it but never did 🙄

The roja has a great opening but I got a powdery and floral dry down and not in a good way ! Glad I tested it first ! Now I really wanna test that blue madeleine, sounds up my alley ish ! Lol

But I bought a few days ago Solaris from Penhaligons and the store sent me the box wrapped in paper sprayed with Blue Madeleine. Oh my god. I kept sniffing the paper like crazy. At 21:45 Creed was sold last year so the last 2 new releases smell like "jumbled" designer scents that have a little more money thrown at them to try and make them alluring.. totally different from previous releases before the sale of the company. 😮

Hi Veronica! I adore Carioca Heart , and your description was spot on... you have to love rum,for sure. I've been wearing it here in the daytime ( but not to work, Lord no). And it works! We shall see if it is too heavy in the dry down. For realistic fruit fragrances, I have been enjoying the house of Chabaud. They have a fragrance, Caprice de Julie, which is said to have a realistic watermelon note. 🍉 Maybe try a sample of that? I love their gourmand fragrances and Caprice de Julienne. Niche house, reasonably priced, BUT not great longevity. Still a win in my book.

I am loving Quattro Pizzi. I find it hard to describe. Yes tuberose, yes coconut, yes rum and tobacco nuances. However, I feel the listed notes do not fully convey the experience I get. For me there is something addictive about it.

I smelled Queen of Silk out of the atomizer in the department store. I did not spray it, but I enjoyed it out of the atomizer. I can tell it was strong, but it was beautiful. It smelled very oriental to me and I know I don't personally go for that style of fragrance.

I agree with your review of wave child! I wish that watermelon note stayed throughout the fragrance. I wish I didn’t blind but it because I don’t like it after the watermelon note goes away and it goes away so quickly.
