Theory!!! The race that made the giant machines were clearly inventors and built security systems for their vast cities and would get increasingly aggressive as the danger increases-morning to night. But all good things have to come to an end and there perfect civilization was ended by there very aggressive creations. The survivors were forced to live out side of the cities and in the forests turning them into simple beings in the background. If you have played the game you would have noticed that the more you progress into the day the less animals there are in the back. You are playing as a creature that was originally found in the forest but caught up in the ancient cities of the once thriving race. You are trying to save your species by cloning your self and when you are vacuumed up into the pipes your kin escapes through the broken parts of the pipes and you are left to help multiply the species population. But your activity is cause all sorts of chaos with the security of the vast cities. Cities are slowly activating were ever you go the machines will stop at nothing to stop you from explore deeper into the great and vast cities and discover its secrets. But for now this theory is what we have until the other two days. Good luck.
at 5:06 I cannot push that button. The canons firing from behind push me back. I've managed to till there with all 3 clones and jumping altogether on the button, but it is not pushed down. I cannot do it how the video shows it is being done. With 1 clone, I am not able to push the button at all. With 3 clones I am able, but I am pushed back way before the button is completely down. In the video it shows that it is being pushed instantly, but this isn't true. It can be pushed a bit and then unpushed (because the canons push you away from it). Maybe Badland has been updated?
Yeah that spot is a real pain in the a$$! It's just a mater of persistence, eventually you'll hit it in the right spot with enough weight to push it right down.
That seems to be a problem with my phone actually. 2 of my friends managed to do it first try in theirs but couldn't do it using mine. I eventually managed to do it, though. I will never do the mission "Survive with one try" though :P

We have a few fan theories about it listed in the BADLAND FORUMS, but I guess we'll have to wait until DAY III or BADLAND 2 to find out!
