my research and study indicate the snell rating safety standard is the very highest safety standard available. when i looked into this, i didn’t see the agv helmet qualifying for the snell safety rating. i read an article about this and it appeared that this level of safety was not a priority for agv. but definitely look into this yourself and confirm that one has chosen the helmet which meets their specific safety and use requirements. i have been looking for a top rated snell rating helmet that has a look and design that i like. but i have not locate one yet. for example, my favorite helmet look/design is ScorpionEXO XT9000 Full Face Carbon Fiber Adventure Motorcycle Helmet, and similar designs. but i have not yet locate such a helmet with the snell rating. this is extremely frustrating. because i require a snell rated helmet.
