I usually don't leave comments on videos but I had to say this really touched me. I have been struggling with my mental health lately as a SAHM and I am just so grateful I came across your video. ❤

I have a 4 yearold and a 1 yearold. I'm always tired and sad. I want to be happy being at home. I want to feel fulfilled. I just want to get better. This is the hardest job ever.
Make sure you take some time to yourself when you can. Even if it just taking a nice bath and putting on a face mask. I really want to stay at home with my next child. I don’t want to miss out on any moments. If no one has told you, you’re doing an amazing job 🤍. Your children will be thankful.
I’m with you! It’s been a little over a year since leaving my job of almost 15 years to be full time sahm! I went through anxiety and depression but overtime it has gotten better when I started praying and reading my Bible more! Also taking baby steps to doing some of the things I enjoyed doing before marriage and kids. I know things will get better for you! You will find your rhythm. ❤️🙏🏽
When I am feeling down, I put in 1 headphone in and listen to “In Praise Of Stay At Home Moms” by Dr. Laura on Audible. I also find her podcast helpful. You’re doing good. Keep going, we are here with you 🙌
I'm a stay home mom to my 3 boys, doing all the house hold chores, preparing food, n doing the budgeting. I enjoy doing it for more than 33 years n it's fulfilling. Salute to all the stay home mom.

Thank you so much from one stay at home mama to another. After 3.5 years of infertility and finally getting my dream come true when we got the phone call of a baby girl in need of a good home I’ve felt so much guilt surrounding my selfish thoughts. How tired I am, how the list does not end, how I no longer feel like myself, how I feel guilty that my husband who I used to work beside renovating homes is now trying to do the work of two so I can be at home with our daughter. It’s so hard some days and to know there are others who feel the same way and understand, helps just as much as a simple thank you. 💜 I always try to remember how incredibly lucky I am to have a husband who loves me no matter if my hair is fixed or up in a bun, whether I have make up on or not, and helps me clean up after dinner or even goes to pick up something to eat because this mama is exhausted from the day. 😊
You've said it all. This is the most tiring yet fullfilling job. Kudos to both stay at home and working moms.

As a single father of 2 boys who also works this is far from the most tiring job I would take staying at home with my kids anyway over a physical 9-5 job
I feel you April💖..i was a working mom for 21yrs..until the pandemic came..I realize now it's hard to be a full time mom, so I salute the mothers who chose to be mothers to their children💖

Why is it so hard for y’all ? I’m a single dad of 2 boys with a work from home job while going to college online. That was a little stressful but when I graduated college and just had work and kids it was a breeze kids are not as hard as people make them out to be. Stressful sometimes yes but that’s life
April dont let the haters get you down they dont know how hard it is to be a stay at home mom. You keep doing what you are doing. Your kids come first . we have your back

I was a stay home mom for 35 years. I have to say, it was the most fulfilling/ rewarding job I had. Yes, I say “ job” because like others who work outside the home, us stay home moms work the same and more so. Now that our 3 children are grown and have their own family, I can honestly say “ I made the right choice of being an stay home mom for all those years. And I was so fortunate to be able to do it!” The reward I got is” our children turned out to be wonderful people “ I salute all the stay home moms out there, it’s not an easy job.
Wow, I’m happy to hear good things from a SAHM for that long. For now I am treasuring all these growing up years. I am proud of you po for raising your children. Who they are right now is because you touch their lives in a way only good moms can do. Respect! 🙏
You deff do not more work then a working mom 😂 a working mom has to do both the father and mother roles. You get to sit on your ass and be lazy while a man pays your way through life.

Thanks for the video. It really hit home when you said it’s ok if you don’t enjoy it al the time. I feel bad sometimes that I don’t enjoy every moment of being a stay at home mom, that sometimes I really want a break, and that I’m always second guessing myself and wondering if maybe I am actually lazy since I don’t work a payed job.
It’s funny, isn’t it, though, that we consider daycare worker, babysitter, nanny, cook, cleaner, all to be real jobs that take time, focus and energy. But for some reason, stay at home mom isn’t considered a real job, when we are basically full time nannies along with being a cook, house cleaner, home and activities manager, and much more.

As a stay at home mom of a 3 year old at days I find it extremely difficult. I literally with my son 24/7. I also work at nights. I clean, cook, prep meals and try to entertain him as well as getting keeping my sanity. My husband works 11-8 so I’m exhausted. We got this mommas ❤
P.S. he definitely helps out as well

Being a SAHM is very difficult, and like any job it takes time to learn and adjust. I have thought most of the things you spoke about. Although my house will never be as clean as yours haha!

i feel you Ms April how hard it is to stay at home with the children. I stayed home for 4 months after i gave birth of my son, and i felt so sad when i have to go back to work. I have 4 children from teenager to an infant, and it felt like i am always on the go. i could never take a break, because i worry about everything. and when i went back to work,i looked back at the times i stayed home to be with my children, and those are my most happiest moments. how i wish i have that option to stay home and take care of my children,but we just can't afford it financially. just choose your battles. those dishes,laundry, dirt can wait. children grow too fast.
You are right. Everybody have their own challenges. We need to see the brighter side of every situation, working mom or SAHM, we are just doing what is fit and right for our situation ❤️

If you are wondering how full time working moms do it. The answer is they don't. Daycare and family raises their children. Meals come from a box or are ordered out. Being a stay at home mom and wife properly is much harder. My wife is such a good mom and wife. I make it worth it to her anyway I can. Financially she might be dependent on me but she gets all the best we can afford. Be proud of yourself If you are a stay at home mom. Your job is the most important one there is. I can tell you any educated man respects your work and as fathers we appreciate your sacrifices for our children.
I was a working mom with my first one I used to work 10h at day 4-5 days at week in an Amazon warehouse. My first daughter used to be in a daycare all day. I thought motherhood was easy because all I used to do was sent my daughter away to be taken care of even when I didn't work. Then the weekends dad was home so I was not only my job. Now I am a stay at home mom to a 4 year old I never felt so dry and exhausted I am grateful but I wouldn't do it again never.

Maraming good memories pagiging stay at home mom. Nakita mo paglaki ng mga anak mo at kung paano sila naging mabuting tao sa paglaki nila kasi nakita nila kung paano ka bilang isang ina.

Just got to a point where my partner can be a stay at home mom after 9 years (two kids, 9 & 4). She was working from home but got laid off around the same time my income was rising. The adjustment is tough, but thankfully I work from home and can quickly engage to help with chores, and I do all the cooking of dinners promptly after work and the grocery shopping at night or weekends. I’m doing my best to make her feel like it’s not all on her, but she’s struggling with our son wanting constant attention. It’s only been a month, so it’s still very early, but I can say it’s definitely not easy. I know she feels like others think “it must be nice”, but they have no idea. Some think they prefer to work, some would rather be home, but no matter your situation, it’s always hard. Work is hard, kids are hard. Just have empathy.

I couldn’t do this and my husband makes more than enough but I just could not. Being a stay at home mother well when you’re actually doing the role lol is no joke like you will feel depressed, lonely, lose yourself, etc . Salute to all the stay at home mothers and working mothers ❤

Thank you! I have never seen any of your videos before but I feel I was supposed to see this. I have been a stay at home mom since the beginning of the pandemic but before that I had been working since I was 15 years old which would be over half my life at this point. I often feel unheard, useless and unfulfilled and wonder if I should go back to work to bring more money in and if it would help me gain back any unfulfillment I am missing. But, my twins have thrived from me being a sahm. One twin has slight learning disabilities and was in need of speech therapy. He would not be where he his now if it were not for the scarcfices I have made.
I am thankful for my role and am able to at least make a little money doing customer service calls a few hours a day while the twins are now in kindergarten. Now if i could find another wfh job that would give me the flexibility I need and get me off this phone 😅. These customers are worse than my husband and kids sometimes.

If your Husband opted you to stay at home and take care of your children, it will be your luckiest opportunity to be with your children since you have two. And others can't understand that, but we Nurses knew what is the importance of Childhood and Development to a growing child. Being a Mom is the greatest opportunity you can bond with your kids and they will remember and love you more as they grow old. No need to ask, but we Nurses are flexible because we are hardworking people but we just don't want to look ghaunt and excessively haggard due to long days of work and return home without knowing if your kids are molested and abused by your Caretakers. Return home with your house looking like a garbage dump with stinky smell and your children became malnourished due to wrong food preparation or absence of a meal. Stay what you are. You knew better what is best for your kids and for your Husband. Work is just around available anytime. 💖💐🌼

U r true absolutely. I am a doctor left my kid for work with nanny. My son was crying like anything I asked my servant she said she feed him now I asked when 5 hrs back. I said have u gone mad he us toddler he has to feed 3 to 4 milk. So that the guilt I felt I decided I will mot work outside and if I want to work I will do from home but never leave my kid on some one. It's blessing to have a child. I have parents trying for child from 15 to 20 yrs for just one child and we ignore them to chase ur dreams.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I know that many youtubers get a good source of income from their channel but as of now, I am not making money from this endeavor. This vlogging is an enjoyable and creative outlet for me. I’ll be honest, it would be nice to generate money from this to also consider it as an “online job” but its going to be a long journey to get that far. I appreciate your honest opinion. Thank you! ❤️

And to this day, I have been watching still all their vlogs. I am a fan, not the rude one.
I am sorry but each person have choice in life. My mom raised 5 kids work full-time and still able to take care of us. I think new generation just make big deal of everything. Just saying
