When we “launched” the RB Continental back in 2008 (literally, from the top of a three story building) we had no idea that we’d be the vanguard of a new era in protective cases that would transform the expectations of professional and hobbyist musicians all over the world. With the RB Continental Voyager series, we’re excited to up the ante once again.
We’ve refined and revised our shock absorbing and impact-resistant Flexoskeleton™ with an efficient internal structure that maintains our high standard of protection while reducing weight and bulk dramatically. We’ve further articulated our Quadraweave™ exterior with a modern Black Heather texture that wears well and looks great. We’ve also re-designed the interior bracing system with a reinforced locking neck block and the addition of user-configurable protector pads at the endpin.
All of the great ergonomic features of the original RB Continental are evident and even improved in the new Voyager series. Our Zero G™ handle still feels as weightless as ever, but we’ve added an edge seam to improve longevity and durability. Our adjustable, hideaway backpack is even more comfortable than ever.
Most importantly, we’ve consistently maintained our high standards for quality craftsmanship that we established back in the 1970s when we created the first professionally accepted gig bag. We use industrial-grade high-tensile thread, reversed water-resistant zippers, abrasion and scuff resistant corded edges and seams, EVA backed material, and internally reinforced structure in those high stress areas. Best of all, we back this up with the peace of mind that comes from an industry leading limited lifetime warranty.
Often imitated, but never equaled, the RB Continental Voyager guitar case will protect your axe in style for years to come.

I prefer a case like this 90% of the time. Been looking for a dual case for a while now. Gonna check these out.
I got one of their single electric bags a few years ago, and it really is amazing. Every part is well thought out and well made.
I still want hard cases for storage, but RB bags are unbeatable in almost every way.
I've been using a Mono dual bass case for years, now. Love it!
I love these cases, they are lighter than a hard case, extremely robust, as I have been taking mine on a plane every second week for the past tear, and it still looks brand new, guitar is well protected.
Thank you for your explanation. I really like this kind of portable soft guitar case. The hard shell always looks bulky.
I got the same case for my Lowden. Its amazing, and looks better than a damn casket inside. Going to get more for my electrics
Congrats on becoming an endorser! The case looks great! Gonna check them out. Need a good dual case and my other preferred soft case the Mono Vertigo doesn’t come in a two-guitar configuration to the best of my knowledge.
I still love my hardshell cases.
And always will. No matter how fancy they make a gig purse, it's still a gig purse.
Soft cases are often as bulky if not bulkier compared to hard cases, though they are lighter

Ignorance is bliss eh?
Thanks for the info. I’ll be looking into the semi hollow case.
Congratulations on the artist endorsement! I have a reunion blues bag for my Les Paul and I prefer it to the hard case by a mile. It has better padding and protection in every way but puncture and that is up for debate.
I got one with my McPherson Touring and love it.
Thanks Johnathon 🤘Been playing for decades and never heard of them and own all hardshell cases and with gigging like you said the hard shells like anything is just a matter of time. I need a gig bag or could use one to try out coming up next month so think I am going to look into this place and maybe give it a go👍 I also like they back what they make! Keep rocking Johnathon 🤘🎸🤘
I switched to gig bags a few years ago and love it. I have a Gator Pro bag that carries an acoustic and electric. It's slick. The pockets are an underrated feature.
I prefer hard cases for storage. They seem to stack better in places and I trust them semi more for long term safety. However, for day to day use, traveling, and gigging a nice quality gig bag win hands down. They are way more practical and companies like Reunion Blues, Mono, and Gator are making some game changing products.
I won’t buy a guitar if it “only” has a gig bag. For the crazy prices guitar manufacturers are asking these days, they should give you both! (Yes seriously)
Huh?
So many good bags nowadays - mono, gruv, reunion, gator etc. In the old days, a gig bag was basically fabric with a zipper.
lol I’ve still got a couple of those bags
All the features of this case are very similar to the gator brand dual bass case I bought myself.
I love the gig bag over a case any day
So, I think you could also put Baxter in that case. Do they make them for electric bass?
I agree 100. Not this case in particular but I do have a handful of hard bags that are WAY better then using full cases. The hardcase is still good for flight if not using road cases, I wouldn’t use a hardbag and check it in. Personally. Quite a few brands making some excellent cases
I've not tested my Reunion Blues case by throwing my guitar off a roof like RB used to do to prove their bags but I have no doubt that my Tele is safe. Unless you're such a big rock star that you have a crew to move your gear, this is the safest way to travel with your guitar.
I'm a case fanatic. I prefer hardshell but i will say, having experience with Reunion Blues (had a trumpet case back in the day) that they are the best gig bags. The one i had was leather and i think there should be more gig bags for guitar. Or at least imitation leather. I'd be more excited about them if they were.
I have a reunion blues case and it’s great but the boss one is just as good
it would be nice to see how difficult or easy it is to load and unload. and I am curious about what protects your Tele from your Strat.
There’s a padded, rigid wall between the two compartments and they’re facing away from each other. Super easy to load and unload, maybe I’ll do a video showing that on my channel.
@@guitarjonathan thanks, this is the first time that I had seen one of these
J - that looks awesome… i am left wondering how you get the 2nd guitar in/out… have a good one
The back zips open.
I like how neat and tidy my hardshell cases store. My soft cases are all different sizes, shapes, widths and create storage chaos.
👀
Yup that’s a case
And humidity control ?
I mean, It totally depends on the guitar you're travelling with, doesn't it?
An sg or lp type don't fit as good as straight neck guitars, do they?
Double gig bags are really convenient if you're travelling with a tele and a strat, imho.
These actually have a recessed part where the headstock is so there’s room for a Gibson headstock not to touch the bag. I still think it’s safer and carry my 335 in one.
@@guitarjonathan good to know, thanx
Yeah I know some of the new soft cases are well made but there's something about a hard case that looks and feels more premium. They're also smaller and easier to store when you have multiple guitars. This also came off like a paid endorsement which makes it less credible.
I would definitely rather have something like this, because due to me, being “Mr. Magoo-sighted“ and naturally clumsy, if I’m caring a hard case, something is getting hit.
Tthis does make much more sense than trying to carry two cases at once, even two gig bags is a pain in the butt 😢
I still prefer a hardshell.
So cool, a zipper, heavy padding to save your baby from damage, lots of space for bubble wrap, two guitars, are you kidding? No locks to bother with & everybody knows you’re cool with a backpack guitar carrier. Very highly recommended!
Casino doesn’t sell ‘em but you can look ‘em up online & buy one sight unseen. I’d never use one, myself, but give one a try.
So, like to pitch Reunion Blues "Form Fit" padded case for Strat c. 1992, flawless for 32 years,
EZ single or dual shoulder carry.
That is almost too wide for the bus or carrying on your person…at least somewhat bulky and can you carry it comfortably on your back?
These things are heavy as hell. I went to Chuck’s looking for a bag because the Wolf one I had was opening at the bottom and a plastic zipper pull broke off. LSS - I got a single guitar Continental bag. I think the guy may have “upsold” me a just a bit… but that’s why they are salesmen.
I have the level down from this one (the RBX2E) and I have no fears lugging it around to various places. This one I am sure is even more protective
Those are fantastic too. Awesome cases all around.
Is there room for a jazz master?
I'm done with soft shell cases. When I stack my guitars in the car to go to a gig, the soft shell case has to go on top so the guitar doesn't get crushed. I'll never buy another guitar without a hardshell case.
I like my guitars "over easy".
Tarheel fan, eh Jon?
RB makes great straps. But I love my guitars so I will continue to hardcase them.
I have one for my Epiphone Masterbllt. It’s a solid case.
I do have my Seagull and ES-335 in Hiscox hard cases just because I’m not a 100% on soft cases. YMMV
I love my Reunion Blues Continental Voyager. I always grab it over a hard shell case.
I have a few Reunion Blues RBX gig bags and I love them.
Better than Mono?
Likely similar man.
I think they're akin to each other. Even the mono sleeve is a great case. GruvGear is great too.
We all were done when Mono happened
I have a double-guitar case. Love them. So convenient.
I could barely pay for a mono semi hollow case…if it’s 400 l’m gonna shit
I might get a hard w/ a Martin…might is a big word cuz l won’t pay 2800 for a guitar…yet
YOu don't show both sides?
The Mono equivalent version looks better constructed, better aesthetically, and is cheaper. These are stupid overpriced at nearly $400.
Nope, I do not agree about you on this. Being paid by them might have something to do with it. I won't buy a guitar without a hard case. To each his own. So you pick ease of travel over protecting your guitar. A little respect lost for you and this channel.
You’re angry that a guitar shop is trying to sell you something?
I use Mono gig bags. Hardcases suck.
@Steve.Cutler Like I said, we don’t sell them. But I am endorsed by them. And I’m not arguing about whether your guitar should come with a hard case, I know a lot of people feel like an expensive guitar should come with a hard case from a value perspective. But I hate to hear you lost respect for us over my honest opinion. Which is that there’s no way your guitar is better off in a hard case than in this. If you think I’m wrong I can respect that but that’s been my experience.
@@guitarjonathanLast thing I'd worry about is that guys opinion of your opinion....
