Exploring Khotachiwadi - A Heritage Village In The Heart Of Mumbai

Located in Girgaon in Mumbai, Khotachiwadi represents a slice of history in the heart of the metropolis. This heritage village was founded in the late 18th century by Khot, a Pathare Prabhu, which is where the name comes from. The village showcases beautiful old-school Portuguese architecture, making it a real treat for the eyes.
We were lucky enough to get a mini history lesson from archaeologist, historian, and local boy Andre Baptista, who told us all about how Khotachiwadi came to be. We also visited the house and boutique of designer James Pereira, who told us more stories about the village. The local art gallery, full of beautiful works, is a must-visit as well.

When i was in gurgaon i use to go khotachi wadi several time bcoz my friend khalpada is stay there but now i dont know where he is if u can give me his contact no i will be happy pl do some thing

This absolutely falls stories. There is no real truth on her story. Those east Indian doesn’t mean some people from the different part of the world. Migrated there, hundred years ago. Absolutely absolutely wrong the backward, and the schedulecast people from the Hindu community converted them into christianity , Those are these people, so get your story, right?
