You explain yourself like an angel, Alex. Chessfactor is really gold, thanks so much guys and keep doing it like this because you are top professionals. Compared with what you find out there you are amongst the most serious and competent chess benefactors. I hope you can gain audience because you deserve it.
Thank you very much for your nice feedback. Glad to hear that you like our content. Check also our free website www.chessfactor.com, where you can find much more instructive content. Take care!
Thanks Alex. Thanks Chessfactor. The difference with your videos is that you actually teach us chess. You explain the theory and it helps so much to progress. It is not all about teaching us traps and technics that will make us win one game. It is about understanding how to make us think as a good chess player. You are professional, clear and I like to see how passionate you are about all the options available.
I like your line, "Grandmasters know theory inside out." It's mind-boggling yet it's true! And thank you so much for your succinctly clear elucidation IM Alex! 👏👏😊
Thank you Alex. I've never ever sat down and wanted to study chess (or anything) untill I came across your courses on chess factor, even though I notice that you don't have the attention you deserve, you are what you call a "hidden gem", the way you explain is soo beautiful and you have really enlighten chess for me,, displaying the true beauty of it
Im a decent level club player and play quite a bit of Evans Gambit, both in Blitz and in Classic chess. I have done so for years, so this video might not give me that much but its one of the better ones out there. It theaches what you need to know, not just the traps and how to play when the opponent goes wrong.
Hi zigzwang, you are right, white can also play 9.Bg5. We did not cover all variations in this video because there are many of them. After 9.Bg5 white attacks the black queen, but after 9... Qg6 10.Bxd3 Nf6 black can castle and the f7-point is protected.
3:15 after black's 7, .. exd4, you should not retake with 8. cxd4, but castle: 8. 0-0. It sets up a trap that most 1500 players will fall into. If they don't blunder 9. dxc3, it's still almost a winning position.
Do you have any plan to incorporate training sessions for this video as well? I loved your content so much that I subscribed at chessfactor - I am loving every content except that opening videos don't come with any hands-on practice sessions. Just a question.
Hi brasidas7, thanks for subscribing. We are planning to provide opening training (for example: exercises) beginning of next year. At the moment, we are quite busy and preparing a little surprise for end of the year. Stay tuned!

I greatly appreciate your work.. Really helpful.. Could you please recommend a book as simple as your explanation for chess theory? I've tried modern chess openings, but I guess it is still above my head
You're welcome! Through your comments we see that you browse through different videos. Do you have any favourite opening and what topics interest you the most?
@@Chessfactor I enjoy learning opening theories of Italian and scotch , your middle game section is also great giving insights over knight vs bishops , meta to deal with pawn structures improved my approach and zeal wishing you positivity !!!
Hi Alex well explained, thanks! From your experience, what about say 2200-2300 elo level? Dead end for the opening or still playable? Does it change a lot in your opinion to play the Evans Gambit in a correspondence game vs over the board?

Excellent video, plenty of depth, gives great context to each position. Am new to Chessfactor and so glad to have found it!
Very instructive! Thanks, Alex!
You're welcome! Do you have the Italian Game in your repertoire or what kind of openings do you usually play?
@@Chessfactor Yes, but for e4 openings, I prefer Ruy Lopez. For d4, I like the Colle and Queen's Gambit.

Very clear. One doubt though. At 9.16 can white plan Bg6 hitting the queen with tempo and trying to chase the Queen away from protecting f7 later?

Nope the Bishop in e7 protect the queen
Great explanation! Could you, please, tell where model games are?
