I used to just follow my intuition too but these videos I am doing for you. People asked me to make sketches. Therefore, I first draw a sketch, then think over every detail, than measure them, and finally make them :)

This is my own design. I am doing my templates by myself but it was my old work. At that time I hadn't made a templates yet.

What gauge (thickness) is the copper sheet? I like that it is thin enough to cut without a jewelers saw I didn't know it came in that thickness I really want to buy some now! ❤️

Great tutorial but first its very hard to see how your bending and manipulating your wires. Second, about 16 min into the video you go from half done with the top to poof top is wrapped and off to the next step. It could of been a better tutorial for sure. Great idea to show how to do it though. Thanks for sharing!
