Years ago, I was so moved by this video that I decided to study environmental science. Years later, I did not get anywhere with that degree plan and I am now studying philosophy. But, there is definitely something immensely romantic about this man's struggle to save plants. How blissful it must feel to live a life so connected to nature.
there are a lot of americans looking after hawaii but i don,t see many hawaiians planting any of the traditional plants like the canoe tree and things like that give them back some respect they deserve and for them to learn more of there country and to find about what can help and what can,t sort of thing .
Hay hank, I am duncans brother , skip and just wanted to say that what you are doing is very cool, we have to learn to help where we can. Keep up the good work
Excelente programa de conservación; es importante promoverán en todas las partes del mundo donde así se identifiquen aquellas plantas que están desapareciendo.
Help me understand this like the first plant Tree like thing in the video if seed is not working then try air laying by picking A healthy branch and scarring it to the cambium layer in removing the ring around the whole entire branch and then put in a little moss and wrap it around with plastic wrap around the scare in a few months it should grow roots.
Several years ago I found a plant if it's very small had a very tiny flower on it so for 5 years I looked around and found it it only grew in this one place last 2 years I've been spraying Roundup to see if I could get rid of it the plant does not exist no more at least where I found it but there was something very special about the plant and I didn't want to anyone else to know about it so I got rid of it. And yes you're welcome now I need to find another one and see if I can do the same thing have a good day
This problem won’t be fixed until everyone takes responsibility and stops blaming other people or other things or the government. Most telling is when you go to buy plants for your garden, most plants are not from Hawaii, if they do have hawaiian plants, their price is much higher than non-native plants, makes no sense.

Native Hawaiian plants are prone to infection.
