She shared her experience moving from Russia to Mexico, marrying a Mexican man, and even learning other languages like English, Italian, and Chinese. 👋 Hola, I'm Nate. I used to not know any Spanish at all, and I had no interest in learning the language. I thought learning Spanish would be boring, a waste of time, and would provide no value to my life. Then I started taking Spanish classes in high school and everything changed for me. I struggled with learning the language a lot at first, but thanks to my teachers and my Spanish speaking friends, they helped make the learning process fun. Within a few months, I had gotten to a conversational level, but more important, I had become a more confident person. The real win for me, though, was the friendships I made and strengthened. I discovered that not only did I have higher self esteem, but being out in the real world with people, whether old friends or new ones I met, made me feel more alive and connected with the world around me. Now it's my goal to create videos that make you smile and inspire you to learn Spanish or another language!

videos like these make me feel more comfortable to take some lessons on Italki. I just took two lessons so far but in my second lesson I got improved a lot (in both Spanish and stop being ridiculously shy) I even asked the teacher to only speak to me in Spanish even if I struggled which is something I couldn't say with the first teacher even tho I deeply wanted to. I don't even fear making mistakes anymore, so what? I made plenty of them in English and I'm sure I'll keep making mistakes even in my mother tongue. It's about getting out from your comfort zone and it's a great feeling! so thanks for encouraging us with your videos ❤
Damn, Nate, She sounds more Mexican than You! I had my wife listen to her speaking ( Wife is from Chihuahua and native speaker) Without telling her the background of the speaker I had her listen for a few minutes then asked her where ther girl was from. She said " Mexico" She couldnt believe she was Russian.

Esta chica tiene un terrible acento ruso, aunque habla con fluidez. El hecho de que haya abandonado este terrible lugar significa que tiene cierta comprensión de lo que es Rusia. Desafortunadamente, los extranjeros no comprenden que Rusia es un mal absoluto. No entienden que la mentira es la base de la existencia de estos caníbales. Lograron engañar al mundo entero.
