It's good because it is short, but actual gameplay footage of the routes (WITHOUT FLASHFORWARDS/SKIPS) will be multiple times better than just going throught the mdt route.

Hey, your videos are some of the best i've seen so far for learning the basics of these dungeons. However - one thing I was looking for and some other may also. A shorter, much shorter, details verison of each run. Your current ones are almost 40mins on avg. Something that shows the mdt screens for the pulls, than transition to your in-game POV and maybe highlights or something that shows like "In this pack - 2 mytics that cast heal - priority 1 interupt. 1 melee whatever - face away from group due to cleave" Just quick notes that I can watch quickly while you do the content....anyway, /rantover ty
Have definitely heard some interest in quick guides for dungeons which is something I can look into doing for season 2 for sure, though no need for hyperbole - all my dungeon videos are between 15 and 26 mins, no where near close to 40 yet alone that being the average.

If I could just throw on a quick video that highlights the pulls and the dangers/important mechanics while showing the route, would be amazing! For the tank nerfs, it's honestly not a big deal, I just think the reasoning they gave (healers wanting to heal), and the way they did it (nerfing all tanks by "10%" instead of targetted nerfs to each tank spec) don't really align and seemed lazy. No problem at all! I definitely will, I'll be posting tank tips for normal/heroic, a raid guide for raszageth, as well as mythic raid guides that talk a fair bit about raid prep and WAs that are helpful for getting those bosses down, so lots to come in the next month!
There is a far easier skip for Nokhud going to final boss - just fly in from the left (south) side. All the mobs are yellow, you land/get lightning bolted down, then mount and run to the two mini bosses before final boss. I've never successfully done the long frontal skip with a PUG before; someone always pulls something. This way, no one can pull anything extra. This skip is SW of your pull 21. Impossible to mess up there as you can land anywhere in that area and only have one pat that is of any concern at all (it's on the main path up from the left side and is easily skipped). Your target is the left U-shaped landing area to the left of the long path up the cliff. Should be very easy to spot.
I usually wait for one pack to die before pulling another. As in i divide one pull to fast 2 pulls sometimes people cant handle too many add mechanics.
MDT being not updated sucks. Is it possible to make count by skipping the miniboss after 2nd boss in Jade Temple? Since its a circular pat around the room.
You pull everything in the eternal Kurgans, But I'm finding that trash to be the most brutal after the springs trash. The healing debuff combined with mortal strike is just too much, and the mobs aren't kiteable, 1 shot frontal cones, loads of other ground effects to dodge, bolts to kick, too much to soothe, and tons of random patrols for someone to body pull. Maybe I'm tanking it wrong, but I just die in the pulls too much once the MS is on. The first trash and the last trash seems to be the easiest for me, much easier to dodge arrows and stop rallying cry from the horncallers or whatever they are called.
While the caster mobs aren't kiteable, the mortal strike guys are, and also the ability itself is stoppable so as a tank that should be your top priority. Definitely makes tanking that trash a lot easier if you don't constantly have a big healing reduction on you for sure. Frontal cones are also totally controllable by the tank especially since they're quite skinny, just be aware they are much longer than the animation shows.
@@Tactyks I meant the big melee guy isn't kiteable, since he's immune to all cc (I believe, he's immune to all mine). I agree the frontal cone is skinny, but when you have 2 birds, then 3 more birds come in from patrol, you've got 5 cones going all over, you've got quakings going off, seasonal affix to dodge or combine, green balls on the ground. I'll have to really focus on stopping those MS guys, since they are the true killers for me, but I find its quite hectic in these packs.
Im sure there are 3 more trash packs before the last boss of temple of the jade serpent i tanked a +10 yesterday and i was confused cuz MDT dosent show those packs so its extra % and that can ruin your route as well
Those trash packs were newly added for live, but it doesn't actually mess with the route count as they adjusted all the mobs alongside that, so you still end up at just over 100% by W keying.
For the most part I tried to avoid using them for that reason, with only 1 out of my 8 routes needing them. I think it's a pretty fair, straight line skip that PUG groups can do though which is why I included it, and if you don't want to do it by all means just w key right through as I say in the video. You'll be about 10% over count due to the required trash beforehand, but it's probably fine for lower key levels.
what's the reasoning for going right to ancient first in academy first over vexamus? is it simply for lust timings? because running left seems more optimal travel distance wise
For me I think the lust timings going right first are better than going left, its slightly more distance but it's pretty minor and getting to lust bigger/more dangerous packs is likely enough of a time save to make it worthwhile.
Yep that was a nice surprise Blizzard added after all the beta testing was done, luckily it doesn't actually change count since they rearranged some of the values.
Yeah Ruby was a pretty large challenge for me to put together, it's the only dungeon I have those types of skips in, and while I think the invis skip is extremely easy to do, the patrol one is definitely more challenging. Though I think trying to dodge that patrol is way easier than fighting him, because on fort keys that guy will absolutely destroy pug groups imo.

On live, there's an extra three packs directly in front of the final boss - and incredibly tough ones at that. Not sure if they effect your %ages
Yep that's a new pack added post-beta, luckily they reworked the count in the dungeon so it still works out to just be a W key route for Temple!

Is there a particular reason to go right vs left first at Academy? Is it just to reliably avoid the Skitterfly pat?
It's mostly just lust timing, plus the tree boss tends to be where a lot of groups struggle, so getting that out of the way first is nice.

Doing the route as is definitely not, potentially if you pull the 2 mobs down the hallway near the 3rd boss but not 100% sure there unfortunately.

i use to go left. but i go right now as it is more optimal using lust around tree boss
