I’ve been twisting on and off as a hobby for four years… I can nearly do a dog blindfolded… and maybe it because I’ve always learned from books and tend to skim descriptions (visual learner)… but this is the first I ever have learned to squish the balloon to soften your bubble before twisting… all those popped balloons suddenly make more sense. I thought perhaps I wasn’t burping enough, or not leaving enough tail… I was never squeezing…

I am preparing to be the Balloon Twister at my Granddaughter (4) & Grandsons (2) combined Circus themed Birthday party in a few weeks......and I need about 6-8 simple designs for them to pick from. Hi, Thought I would share this with you. I took the way you make the wrist flower and did a regular flower, making the petals larger and adding a second balloon the same way as the first..then of course added the green center and stem. It really look like a very different flower from all the others. I'm not better or smarter than you and not trying to say that. I only started this but have been an Artist for eons, lol.

I second this notion, wolves are awesome and I haven't really seen any yet. I have seen a picuture complicated werewolf mask balloon once though, but that's it.

I tried using a book and it didn't go well, luckily I found your videos and can now twist all manor of things - some of which my 3 1/2 year old actually recognises! Happy Sunday! I was wondering how i keep the balloon from splitting down the center before i get it blown up to the length that i need. I am using a balloon hand pump and today is my daughter's birthday. HELP PLEASE!
Pinch the end of the balloon that is attached to the pump with one hand and keep it firmly fastened to the pump. Take your other hand and hold the part that is separated at the top end. Squeeze it a couple times, slowly working it back down to join the first part. Very simple. But you might want to try a different pump or type of balloon, they shouldnt do that but it is no big deal if it does.

I was trying to make a mohawk hat, but it kept going lopsided on me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I want to see something simple and fire safety related. I am the Fire Prevention Officer and I could use something for our open house for the kids.
I've made the flowers, dogs, swords and the guitar..but this seems so much more difficult, the air keeps going where I don't want it to. Not sure what I am doing wrong..Help!
Try adding additional twists to each pedal. This should prevent the air from moving around.
I will try that, what about pinch twisting them? Haven't had time yet to try either..thank you for answering..

if you are losing air when you try to make a pinch twist, add extra revolutions when you are twisting the sections.
Thanks so much..will try it again tomorrow. I'm not doing it professional but I do like to take them to Events for the children.
