You're actually the only video I could find showing you actually moving the unit. Thanks for that, gives me an idea of some technique to use. Shuffling the 300 pound beast. Are we allowed to use a hand truck on these things too? And if so what side.
Great video and great job. Thanks for posting!
How much does this cost roughly?
If you have to ask, probably too much. Did you have it done 5 years ago- what did you pay?
Great video, I just relocated my AC unit about 5 feet from its original spot. After relocating it and installing everything how long do I have to wait till I turn it on?
This is informative but I have to keep muting due to the annoying music and then un-muting to hear what is actually said.
Get rid of the music
Where's part 2 ??
All the newer scrolls have internal bypass on them, they will pop open on high head pressures also. It protects the compressor from massive overcharge, cond fan failure ect.
I had an old house which has indoor a/c, very noisy and bothering, may you please help to move the system outside of the house? I can't image how the duct work.
What's the cost of something like this?
Nice Work! You should get yourself a knee pad! Your no spring chicken, haha...
Haha! Yeah I wear knee pads under my pants every single day!
I like the music keep me awake as I drive to my first morning call
hahahah! Well I appreciate you watching!
hey bud great video but I found something out that had helped me in the future. if all it would pump down is 25 psi I would close it down on that because the rest is more than likely just air. hope that helps in the future
Thanks as always Curt!
Or pump it down as far as you can and recover the rest btw wanted to ask you a few questions fox family as to how you made your prices looking to do a start up on a new company and not sure the best route to go about pricing
There is a video called HVAC Spells Wealth that you could check out. This guy spells it out for you on disc 6 or 7. A great source of knowledge though for sure!
Why are they using greenfield flex outside?? Our inspectors freak out when they see it being used outside.
Yep that's the local big company that gets a lot of the new tract housing around here.
I was about to say the same thing, then the flex was cut and wires fed bare...
tell the customer, code says: at least inside sealtight
Yea but 100 foot rolls of sealtight are the same price as the greenfield, the difference between fittings is just a few pennies
Greenfield is code on Goodman installs.
very nice job fox!!!!
what can a homeowner expect to pay for a service like that?
Way more than you want to
Jimmy Boredom That was helpful
Great video. Thanks!
How much does it cost (approx) to move an air conditioning unit like the one in the video?
500 to 700 dlls
@@goldenkid3725 What's are dlls?
@@micarta3156 Dollars
What about using 407c in a R 22 unit as a replacement
I want working with you
What do you think about blends
All good man. I use 407c when applicable.
Awesome post
Thanks so much John!
If there's a long lineset and a smaller compressor and no accumulator the compressor probably reached its capacity
or compressor is a piece of crud... very good video thou, its great to see what builders leave the homeowner
+refrigeration tech right, if the compressor valves are weak, it's less likely to suction the lineset into a vacuum
Scroll
Hahah guys thanks for the input. And thanks for watching!
