WE NEED THE ENTIRE ALBUM REACTION MAN. PLEEASSSEEEE
Frfr
Oh hell yeah Cous 🙌🏾
Word.
Yeah they just break down everything and make me appreciate the bars even more
Yessss please!!
RDCWorld said it best: "It's been out three hours, and its a classic." This album is as long as a mixtape and will still be one of the most memorable works of this era of rap.
Cole was definitely in his mixtape bag
Edit: damn so Apple Music just updated their Editor’s Notes for the project, and it called this an actual mixtape lol.
Facts
J.Cole?...Jermaine?...Cole?
This is a classic indeed. 12/12. Not sure what else the man can do for those who just refuse to acknowledge him. Not saying that he needs them...
I agree its going to have a long lasting replay value for sure like 2014fhd I can see this album just staying on the charts for years to come not falling off like 2014fhd.
Lmao bruh calm down it’s not that serious. It’s one of coles weakest pieces he’s ever done.
So, I only watched this because I had no idea who J. Cole is, or what this song was about. This song didn't affect me the way it did you guys, because this is probably not aimed at a 63-year-old white guy in a little Texas town, but I wanted to say thanks for going through this and showing me what makes this good. I appreciate you showing me the artistry that would absolutely go rigth over my head if you didn't point it out to me. I probably won't go looking for the rest of this album but I'll watch any reaction videos you do for it. I guess now I'll go watch the Heart video. ;-)
Love your comment how you can respect something that you really don’t know thank you
Love your comment. Thank you for taking the time to listen & learn!
You should check out his 2014 and 2016 albums if you haven’t to see what he’s about. J cole is a really good dude
I know this is old, but we need more people like you in the world! You don't need to like the music someone is reacting too, but don't hate and post negative comments, just stay quiet, or like OP recognize how much work the guys put in to break down tracks like this! 🔥🔥🔥
This comment is awesome 👍😎 lol ❤️
Gotta do Hunger On The Hillside-J Cole‼️
Yeah that track is fire
Best track on the album , hard to say that tho bc its definitely a no skip album. Everything is ✨fye✨
That song is a masterpiece
They gotta do the whole thing honestly 🤣
Best song on the album imo
12/12. No misses. No skips. And I’ll die on that hill 😂🔥 Cole World 🌍 🐐
yep !
I would say 10/12 but Cole killed it
@@bakhtiyarguseinov9402 I’m assuming you’re not including interlude and the climb back? That’s fair since we already heard them
Deadass
Why ain’t we doin full album reactions those be hitting hard af
Yah and most people have been able to post their whole reaction without copyright either
You gotta think of it from a business perspective, more people are gonna wanna watch shorter videos than one long video
@@mxrijx no
@@mxrijx their videos on single tracks are 20-30 minutes wym
@@ca74050 20-30 mins is still more consumable than 1-2 hours
"Krispy Cream dreams, My dogs wanna kill 12" also references how donuts come in a box of 12 (you get 12 pieces)
Georges reaction at 12:34 defines the entire album.
“He’s just.. rapping?!”
😂😂😂
Heck yeah.
I think that’s what made the album abit whack for me compared to his other albums, felt the schemes and technicality of the spitting was too forced
@@Dilllll26 a rapper is… rapping? Lmaoo
@@MrFERCHO321 just didnt feel like authentic cole to me, just an album of hard freestyles, but not as good musically imo. dont get me wrong he spat his ass off but i rather "let go my hand" etc, simpler style with more substance.
I’m only 22 and this is one of the hardest beats i’ve ever heard. i wish more artists today would bring back this sound. This what Cole means when he says “The real is back”!
Check out Griselda and dj premier beats in general bro you’ll probably fw them too
You know artists are different ? And have to rap or sing on a beat that fits them
Regarding the beat, look up Jay Z’s “U Don’t Know” and Lil Jon’s “Put Yo Hood Up”
he sounds hungry and pissed. This is Cole's best Album in terms of production.
Nah
Don’t get me wrong cole hungry but production wise this ain’t his best album
@@joemomma6317 it deffs is cuz I never really got bored listening to this album it’s clarity and switch ups his energy was felt not just heard
Everyone has there preference but this is the most playable album that I have really listened to. Not saying it’s his best album I just need to listen to him more.
@@KiraYoza way to much autotune and mumble rappers like 21 on this one to be his best album. Lmao he made an album literally addressing druggie mumble rappers then makes a mixtape with them on it.
Whole album is fire. This tune, Pride is the devil & Hunger on Hillside are my favourites though!
Ha, if I had to pick two those are my exact pics
Let go my hand tho ...some real shit
Amari tho
U crazy close might be better
Y'all sleeping on Close.... that's straight heat 🔥
When you and your homies start dapping each other up to a song, you know that song is absolute fire. lol
"They ain't gonna play this in the club, somebody gonna get fucked up" 😂😂
Could you tell me the name of the song? I can’t catch it§_§
Oddly enough, I think Cole's resurgence is due to Cole playing basketball. That was his first love, and he has even said he wanted to play ball but didn't put in the work.
Now he "has his shot" and he's almost living in the past. He got that fire back.
Nah y'all need to do the whole album.
This the one.
Respectfully.
No it wasn’t, shit was fire, y’all gotta give it a few listens, it hasn’t even been 3 days
This Track is EVERYTHING! A complete masterpiece of a track ! The bravado , the gravitas , the NY Grime ! The beat ! Omg that Jay-Z homage !
during the Lil Jon outro: "If you play this in the club someone's gonna be fucked up" 🤣🤣🤣
That part alone just make you wanna commit armed robbery.

These guys’ reaction is the only one I care about 😂
Stevie knight is legit too but these guys are the OGs
Vibe Villa tho🙌
Facts. I watch some others for entertainment but this is where I come for the legit breakdowns.
JayBlac is very entertaining too .. #ShakeMyHand

When that lil Jon put yo hood up sample came up... I lost it
Thats exactly when somebody catch a haymaker👊
When Cam'ron came up I lost it. Was in the car hollerin
12:34 that shit was so hard they had to stop it just to dap each other
Only right bro, that flow is amazing
Thing about Cole is he waits a few years in between albums. That gives him time to check recheck and re-re-check to make sure the sound and his lyrics are ON POINT! unlike the artists of today who just throw out B.S. just to throw out music.
They can learn something from him.
Yeah that’s what I love about JCole, he’s not gonna release filler tracks for nothing
He just always moves with purpose! Drops the fire freestyle two days before the album. Gives us interlude a bit before that. The dude is always calculated.
I mean I see your point but that’s also the record label forcing and pressuring them to put out music
@@enricodallas1045 yeah that’s on them for signing a contract that gives the record company that kind of power to force them to release an inferior product and lose their artistic integrity. You think anyone is forcing Cole or Chance or Russ or Nipsey (RIP) to release a rushed song or album? All you have as an artist is your art!
It’s easy to take your time when you’ve already made your money, harder for these guys coming into the game who need to get paid
Ryan is that dude, man. You can tell he feels this in his bones. George too man. Love the reactions. Fire album
95 South, My Life, 100 mil, PITD, Hunger on Hillside, this album is packed with bangers 🔥🔥
Punchin the clock. Close. Amari.
@@jonblixk4140 and Let Go My Hand
Close is one of my favourites.
Man. This whole album gives me hope for rap. It completely shits on 99% of anything new today. Fire! Loved this reaction and Cole is out here trying to save hip hop.
Man i wish i was alive back in those late 90s early 00s days. All that great music thats overlooked now.
Being from the South, this hits different for us. 🔥
Man that crunk vibe at the end was killer..🔥
*Imagine hearing this during the start of a big sports game when they’re bringing out all the players.*
The connection is from with J.Cole completely ATE the ICONIC “I really meant it” beat 🤙🏾the Warm up 🔥⬆️
Bra this whole album is a BAR🔥🔥🔥🔥
this is why I love new music now, waiting for these reactions!!!!
Mannnnn, WHEN Y'ALL PLAYED BIA BIA?!?! Tore the ENTIRE house up. Respect to y'all Kings.
Ludacris killed it
The Production on this album is sick
J cole Applying Pressure.. best track of the album.. beat is on the another level
My nicca I’m still hypnotized by FHD bacc in 14’
Loved this review!! Best reviewers on UA-cam in my opinion!!
Cole was rapping, rapping on this!! Damn! Love when you guys react to Hip Hop, but love how diverse you guys are, you guys put me onto a lot of new diff music and artists!! Free thinkers vibing!
I was hoping for a Cam verse so bad! His drink champs episode was great BTW!
Cam would’ve SMOKED it too
@@georgethompsonjr6082 I swear bro
The GOATs reacting to one of the GOATs! I hope you guys listen to the whole album, would love to hear your thoughts on the project as a whole. let go my hand, my life and hunger on hillside the best 3 tracks for me
I just got introduced to you guys and love it.
J. Cole killed this first song.🔥
Thank you guys for what you do.
This is the kind of music breakdowns I've needed; reaction then analysis 😁👍
Yall should of just done the whole album it's a 12 for 12

Y’all are the J Cole of reaction channels 🐐 🐐
Literally my favorite two human beings you guys satisfy my rock/hip hop hybrid taste and do it with SO. MUCH. INTELLECT!!!
Yeahhh my guys! This is what I've been waiting for. However many of the tracks you can get through would be appreciated as they're all fire!
This is a hard beat. Production on this album is great.
I wish they had way more songs like this on the album. The beat, the flow, the production. Man this song is great.
Glad to see y’all channel still going strong and hard after all this time❤️🔥💪🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽
First time I’ve seen you guys. Y’all are great! Way y’all flow together. Y’all definitely got a new fan
That “mmmm mm mmmm” followed by a sip of water at 13:53 sums this album up. STRAIGHT HEAT!
This song had a Cameron/Dipset style flow & beat. 🔥
Listening to yalls breakdown and smiling cuz I know we are all in the same zone with how dope this is
Love when you brothers take the time to break it down, shout the references and acknowledge the beats and the breaks!!
We need a whole album reaction!🔥
Fam we gonna need this album reaction, you know what’s going on
Your reactions show you guys GET it...and your ear for samples is dope....definitely subbed!
I need y’all reaction to close and hunger on the hillside, y’all been my favorites for years especially for Cole reactions I’m glad to see y’all posting these! 🙏🏾
16:45 that Yahweh reference went over a LOT. Of y'alls heads. Google it, come back and realize dude is on another level with that reference.
Send Em to god
Didn’t go over my head once so-ever.
Trust me it didn’t go over mine understood from the start
Also haven’t seen anyone reference the Luigi brother line. Coles says Luigi brother instead of mario brother cause it’s like he’s handing everyone an L since Luigis logo is an L.
Apply8ng pressure one of the hardest songs on the alb7m🤷🏾♂️😤😤😤💪🏾💪🏾
You guys are so amazing full of positivity and intelligent as far as hype is concerned, So creativity in your episodes It's fun watching you, I regret knowing you this late.
Yalls pullaway stank face 12:19 with the Kill 12 line lives rent free in my head.
J Cole blessed us, he became Santa before Christmas, thanks J❤️
production on this whole album is CRAZY. you guys’ll love it
Bro I love y’all’s energy, keep it up🔥🔥
Been enjoying this album a lot. This song is one of my favorites on the album. Thanks for reacting to this song guys.
The fact that there’s so many different favorites for people says a lot
When he said "we sending em ya way" I swore he said "We sending em Yehowah"
Idk why I felt he was referencing he was sending em to God 😂
Cuz he was. You heard correct.
@@craigrodgers8842 I was hoping someone would touch on it. Haven't heard a reactor catch it. Thought it was pretty fire he did that.

Epic song and quality breakdown/reaction. Makes me wish I started my PMT reaction channel back when this song dropped!
Big fan of your reactions, LIV, love the in depth analysis and the historical context and homage in the lyrics. Would love to hear your thoughts on "Close" and "Hunger on Hillside" keep up the excellent work!
add onto the fact what do cops love? donuts. that Krispy Kreme line is cold as hell
cmon you know we want that full album reaction like you did with KOD!
Facts
As always, the best reactions.
Guys,
For a lack of a better way to get this message to you, I'll leave it here. I've been watching your stuff for about 6 months now and love it. You are hitting all the bands that have been the soundtrack of my life and the music that moves me. Also, you seem to react most emotionally to bands that I do as well - Tool, Rush, AIC, Metallica, Sabbath, etc. I grew with with all of these bands and what has always appealed to me, and I sense it appeals to you given that you guys are really moved by the more progressive bands/tracks, is the intellectual nature of the music of these bands - the musicality, the lyrical themes, and the technical execution. So I feel like we have commonalities in what moves us. I want to point you to a band that would be a bit off the beaten path of your channel (although you did a reaction to The Cure's Lovesong), but fits well within the echelon of the bands mentioned above, so I am going to recommend you try Radiohead's Paranoid Android.
Keep up the great work!
Please do the whole album it’s amazing it’s a beautiful story!!!!!
“ So many shells left on the ground it made the Easter bunny proud “
I love you guys. Keep it up. I learn so much
Love that y’all catch it all!
you have to listen to “ C l o s e” it has a lot of substance in it my favourite song
Agree.
This has such a HoV sound. Dam it takes me back. I'm loving this .
Production on this album improved tremendously. He started collating with some of the best hunger on the hillside has a Ye flow too
Y’all gotta do the whole album these other reaction pages aren’t gonna do every track justice!
I bought a J Cole CD. his first album. on a road trip in college. Man really has been doing it for THAT long.
Cam has been releasing tracks here and there for the last two years. He still got it too
🔥🔥🔥... rough and grimy like the 90s... miss those days in hip hop... definitely hear that “you don’t know” in that beat... love yah videos, yah the truth!!!
Loving the growth in all aspects guys✊
Production on this album is crazzyy 🥶
On the beat, since y’all asked- it’s straight heat. I only got into rap and hip hop back around 2012, but anyone who’s into some real bars and likes to hear an artist really take command of a beat, you know when they go with a classic beat style like this they HAVE TO go in hard (like he did on the freestyle over 93 Til Inifinty).
First time on your channel. Great reaction. I'm still vibing to this album.
@Lost In Vegas, you man do a sick job dissecting tracks like some doctors. Especially how yall dig through the beats. I think I’d be a great idea if yall review beats of upcoming producers too. Some of us are out here with some sick beats and looking for opportunities to get put on. Maybe y’all could even make a whole set connecting upcoming producers and rappers together to see what they come up with. That’d be dope
This song hypes me up so much bro, I swear
Was really hopin for the 90 minute full album review
Analysis always great, keep killing it 🐐
Love why it's called 95 south how it started from the top Cam (Harlem) makin its way down the highway to Cole (NC) and then ended with Lil Jon (ATL)
Was waiting for this 🔥🔥🔥 if this doesnt get you crunked up then you dont know about them Lil Jon days
Lil John ☠☠☠
Y’all need to react to SiR. Chasing Summer should’ve been R&B album of the year. He’s got vocals and an authentic voice. His brother is D Smoke. His mom was a vocalist for years and sang with Gladys Knight
Bro I been waiting too long for this shi🙏🏾 LFG
12:34 when someone spittin so hard u jus gotta dap up ya homie lmao
What Cole did with the beats was amazing
Waiting for the drums to kick in really gets the lisnters attention
Then he come thru with the bars
The project is a masterpiece. "We sending them ya'll way. We sending them Yahweh."
So true, hardly anyone realised this Yahweh flow and meanings. This was one of hardest bars
Best place to come for hip hop review! Right here! Lost In Vegas is where it's at!
I started doing the exact same head nod when he hit that staccato flow in the second verse lmao watchin y’all do it sent me
