Great work as usual! thanks! Ive never used sublim text and i can see all the nmap scans get categorized in the scan folder does it do this automatically for you or have you set up a script to do this?
Btw I just wanted to say that I had my OSCP exam 3 days ago and I unfortunately failed since I was sick so I had to skip more than half of the exam time that day and didn't get enough sleep at all. So, we are on the same page and hopefully we will ACE it next time!
Keep going bro !! You’re doing great walkthroughs. Im studying penetration testing i have no IT background, at the moment i started with some networking basics ( osi, tcp/ip, protocoles …) the problem is that i don’t know what level of networking knowledge is enough to move on and start to learn pen testing! Also i watched some random youtube videos about comptia network plus and A+ content, some tryhackme linux and windows rooms, but Im feeling confused and i jump from a topic to another without a good progress. Could you please give me an advice and share with me youre study tips and methodology ?
You are not alone in this situation. I've been like this in the past and many people are going through the same struggles. You need a plan. And you need discipline more than anything. Get onto Hackthebox and go through the beginner track then cpts and stick to just that without fail. Filter out every other noise and stick to what you are learning. Once you are done with the beginner track. Dedicate a bit of time (2 weeks or so) to get security+ or even network+ to grasp security concepts and hone theoretical knowledge. Then go back to hackthebox and grind on. The secret is to NOT get stuck in tutorial hell and watch endless youtube videos. You need to actually hack to get good at hacking. It's hard, and it will always be hard, and noone is coming to do it for you. You have to want it and then also do it! Best of luck to you!
Nice one Jimmy! Just finished the PWK also going through the PG boxes on the journey with you! Killing it keep it up.
