    Such a nice scooter the Yamaha T-Max 500, so many plastics to remove to get to the drain plug.
    I've had my Honda CB500X from new 2013 and haven't changed the coolant, I know it should be changed every 2 years according to my service manual.

    Hey Mitch, great video. Do you know how to check coolant level on my 2005 T-Max 500. There is no visible bottle or whatever that i can check.

      Hey thank you! Hmm 2005 model I think the coolant reservoir is usually located behind the body panels on the left side of the scooter, near the engine or under the seat. You may need to remove a small access panel or inspect through an opening.

    Is it possible you show how to adjust the idle speed?

    0.5L of coolant enough for radiator and reservoir? In the manual only indicates 0.25L for the coolant reservoir but did not indicates how much for the radiator

    you are so lucky. i dont have the means to repair my scooter. I wish that i had. My own garage instead of a "carport". If i tried to fix my own scooters neighbours would only complain. "too much noise, it looks messy etc"

    Aren't you living in a pretty HOT area ?? - Why antifreeze ?? - Not enough with, simply distilled water ?? 🤔🤔

    • @fedeseakayak
      @fedeseakayak 5 місяців тому

      Antifreeze is also anti rust. Just distilled water will be a mess in the long term

      Yeah me too 😔 the owner lives very close to north shore with a lot of ocean spray from high wind and he rides it to the beach with his foil board… I told him to wash it more often to get salt off
