What occasion will you make this card for? Dont forget you can get all your art supplies and the exact same brushes that I use in my videos in my Etsy store! www.etsy.com/uk/shop/deWintonPaperco
The color of the flower is very beautiful, the petals show lightness and sophistication. I am also a flower lover, especially flowers with simple colors like this. Your picture is beautiful, I will apply this drawing to make a card for my mother on her birthday.
Hi, Harriet. Greetings from Wyoming in the U.S. I received my paint brushes a few weeks ago and adore them. They are perfect for me and are all I use now. Thanks for this sweet video.
I love these small free style flowers but they are sooo much harder than they seem. I know practice and time but I struggle with either having the brush too wet so get water marks that are not pretty or too dry. And it’s just the petals. I seem to do fine on the green leaves - weird right! Maybe a video on the water control on small Freeform flowers?
I tried these again today would not give up. I changed my paper to a better quality paper and oh my!! What a huge difference. No more unsightly water marks. And this was so much easier. I was using the paper of the card stock I had to practice and well from now on I will just cut and fold my own cards from good paper! So for those of you just starting and wondering if paper matters - it does!
I wish I could support you through Patreon! Sadly, not at this time. But I LOVE what you are doing and you are an awesome teacher! Glad Crumble is on the mend and looking forward to seeing your sweet face! I will share your videos on my social media so I hope that can help you!
Ah Marilyn welcome! It’s Crumble, Our chocolate labradoodle who managed to impale himself on a stick while on a walk and had lots of stitches! We often call him Grumble!
Absolutely beautiful in its simplicity, design and message!… going to try this, but I notice, that while I can do a pretty decent petal doing a down stroke, but my up strokes are simply scary! looking? 😧 … I must need more practice , (or else figure out, where my wrist is going wrong?🧐)
So simple but soo pretty, I think I may even be able to do that, thank you so much for this, I am a lefty too, I am def gonna give it a go, Harriet do you use HP mostly or cp paper I have just bought a bumper pad of HP from Cass art
Thank you. I could not do it. It's very difficult, I believe it's because of the paper I'm using, canson montval cellulose... The water is sucked right away... Could it be because I live in a very hot region, northeast of Brazil... Watercolor is very difficult, I don't know why I can't give up, it's very expensive and difficult... Even so, thank you.
He managed to impale himself on a stick he was running with (I might add he’s not allowed sticks and was being very naughty!) so he ended up needing surgery and stitches!
Wonderful. Thanks for sharing. I think I am going to try this.
Really lovely Harriet!
Thanks Barbara!

I’m glad Grumble is recovering but I’m new to you (one of my favorite finds) and would like to know who grumble is
Ah Marilyn welcome! It’s Crumble,

Grumble!
Would be most helpful if you would name the colours you are using.
They are all in the description.
I hope you are ok. Since you are safe in the the UK where you live.
Oh Patricia we are fine thank you but so sad about the news

I must need more practice , (or else figure out, where my wrist is going wrong?🧐)
Yes it’s simply about practise and getting used to how you prefer to paint
So simple but soo pretty, I think I may even be able to do that, thank you so much for this, I am a lefty too, I am def gonna give it a go, Harriet do you use HP mostly or cp paper I have just bought a bumper pad of HP from Cass art

Good observations! Don’t give up!
What happened to Crumble?
Ah he had an accident with a stick but he's fine now
What happened to Crumble????
He managed to impale himself on a stick he was running with (I might add he’s not allowed sticks and was being very naughty!) so he ended up needing surgery and stitches!
Okay, I’ll bite…who or what is Crumble?
Haha,
Crumble is our dog. He’s a straight haired labradoodle and has featured once or twice in a video on here
@@deWintonPaperCo Awwwwww...I was afraid you had named your child Crumbles!
