So much for a heatless 2023, huh? 😣 I'm at my second silk press for the year... deep sigh This hair journey is going to be a little tough for me this time around. I went to a film screening at The Black Hair Experience, spent time with my best friend, spent the day at the park, unboxed some good stuff & more.
Also, I still haven't completed my Lego orchid yet... as you can see.
I'm so happy spring is almost official here here. I'm finally in the mood to create again! 🌸

Yes you’re really good at this and you edit your videos so well! You’re style & personality is very similar to mine. But when I do my own at home silk press I use Mielle products to wash & condition my hair. Then I blow dry my hair with a Conair barrel brush blow dryer. I also use Beyond the Zone heat protector and a L’ange brand flat iron.

i loved my bohemian knotless braids. Idk if I used human hair or not but it lasted me 2 months. Shockingly.
I can’t wait to get them this summer! 2 months is lit! I wanna keep mine in for at least a month, but if I can make it to 2, that would be lit. 🙌🏽

I got synthetic because I just like the fuller look of it, but the matting will be an issue. I think you have to just get a deep wave human hair if you want the curlier look to remain cause I’ve seen some girls do straight/looser wave and have it rodded- i guess just preference of the “look” you want too

Definitely get human hair with boho braids! I did when synthetic before and almost took thosw braida out after 3 days. (I ended up cutting the loose pieces off 😬) When I did human hair it was way better!

Hey Janée girl 👋🏾 get human hair for your knotless braid. It will last longer. I just took mine’s out, i had my braids in for about 2 months. i didn’t have no issue with matting at all.

I just took my gray knotless braids out they got old quick like a month 🥴 I usually try to push it to month two but my roots was like nope lol
Ooouuu I bet gray was pretty though! I think I kept my knotless braids in for two weeks when I had them back in July, but I just didn't like the way they were parted. 🙃
