I've noticed how each Earth took a different path to recovery following the Apokolips invasions. Earth Zero didn't suffer much. Earth One, once a place of innocence, was hit FAST & hit HARD.
The Apokolips wedding must be a cannon event
Darkseid and the other gods reside in the god sphere outside the multiverse. When Darkseid and Loki married, they had their reception on E0. Kalibak and Hela coveted E1 as a wedding gift. Steppenwolf attempted the same for E2. And canon events do not exist in Secret Crisis.

@@qevansable Who is O'Hara? As for mutants, there are varieties throughout the multiverse/mortal sphere. Not many prominent ones on E1. The most prominent ones are the Wonder Twins who are Exxorian mutants and Prince J'emm of the Saturnians. Mutants as a faction are very redundant, what with the Progeny. Plus, this world is based on a period in comics when mutants did not matter.

How come Secret Wars happened on this Earth and not on Earth 0? Better yet couldn't it happen with multiple heroes from different universes like the 2015 Secret Wars?
The philosophy behind Earth One was to start with the analogues of Marvel and DC characters. The second phase was to add non-comic canons to give it all a foundation. For example, the Superfriends series was the foundation for the Squadron Supreme. The animated 70s Spider-Woman series was the foundation for Ladybug (sadly, I left that out due to concerns about video length and a lack of Ladybug pictures). However, I couldn't find the same quality non-comic canon for the remainder of the Champions. I needed something concise and self-contained. Secret Wars 1984 felt just right. I added references to the Secret Wars toys and it all began to flesh out in a really fun way. I even made them an 80s team. Since the Earth Zero Avengers were based on WCA & JLI, I gave the classic Avengers canon to the Champions. As for Secret Wars 2015, it will play out but in a very different way with a very different antagonist.
Is your channel name in reference to The Secret Crisis of the Infinity Hour from Amalgam?
More like a reference to decades worth of the phrase being used in fan communities to denote hypothetical crossovers. Here, I'm using it as very much a descriptor for the overall storyline.

No. The nature of this combined world plays out differently. They are facing a Big Bad not seen in either DC or Marvel comics. The name of the channel just identifies the merging of worlds. This is not Amalgam.
