We looked at this property earlier this year. We decided not to make an offer because it was built without proper permits. Many houses have that issue in Montenegro, but as a foreign buyer it seems especially risky.

This accounts for approximately 50% of the housing stock in Montenegro so almost an accepted norm. The government is having an amnesty on unregistered properties but the whole process will probably take around 2 years.

I should have been on holiday there - possibly that very property. CV19 put a stop to that. Re booked for 2021!
