i think CJ’s ufc career has just been consistently inconsistent, he’s a difficult fighter to bet imo debuted against mokaev - pass on the L there obviously but didn’t do anything on the feet that was significant vs zhalgas - arguably lost that fight didn’t do anything until round 3, i bet CJ and literally he did nothing for 10 mins, had a couple good moments in round 3 and got a robbery W vs jimmy flick - easy win as expected coz jimmy flick had been away and he’s garbage on the feet vs ode - arguably could’ve won this fight if he pulled the trigger in round 3 but was pretty tired and didn’t have the speed to do much late vs durden - ragdolled all fight, accepted being on the mat a lot too which was disappointing vs estevam - ragdolled again same thing didn’t do anything until round 3 vs azat - dropped in round 1, credit to his 2nd and 3rd rounds if he wins he probably spends half the fight being disappointing, just isn’t a fighter i trust
