Really good, helpful video. Did you end up using all 3 cans or did you take one back? What did you think of the ENS? Did you end up using this? Too bad about sanding the grey- that must have stung! I wish I could have seen you spray. I assume that worked out well....Are the window grates removable? (I would get stain on the glass). Thanks, Elizabeth
You can do this, I've always preferred to stain after installation. The benefits of staining afterwards 1. No touchups 2. Perfect seal between logs 3. You can stain the exterior side only 4. The boards will fit together more cleanly without stain on them while installing.
The Sansin website says "file not found" on all the links you have provided to their website. We are trying to find out how to locate and purchase Sansi products. Do you have any updates?
Very informative
Wouldn’t it be better to stain the lumber elements of kit before building the bunkie?
Does the weather have to be warm and does the wood need to be completely dry.
Yes, it's recommended by Sansin to have warm(ish) weather and dry surfaces.

Love Sansin!
Great tutorial!
Thanks!
Topgun stain 👍
Just wanted to clarify. Do bunkies come ready to be stained once assembled, or do I need to sand them before applying on a new build?
Is it recommended to stain bunkie prior to building it?

If you do not use an inferior water seal, do you still need to sand the bunkie? Do all bunkies require sanding due to mill glaze?
Yes! Michael recommends sanding all bunkies that are mill glazed :)

How much stain do you need for two coats on a bunkie approximately?
Depends on the bunkie, which one are you building?
@@BunkieLife The 2018 w/ loft
@@cpomponi I would budget one can per coat.
