Utica, NY Fire Department - Truck Company 5

This video shows Truck Company 5 responding out of their quarters at the corner of Eagle St. and Neilson St. Truck 5 was operating with a 1957 American Lafrance 700 Series 100' aerial. This aerial collapsed at the Southwind Terrace Fire on May 26th, 1973 and the company was disbanded shortly thereafter. The initial photo was Truck Company 5 after the aerial was removed and used as a reserve truck up until the late 1980's.
