I love the way you teached. And even I am just a beginner, I think I am already satisfied with my acrylic painting. The techniques and tips are a big help to me.
Excellent! More of the extreme close ups please. You'd be amazed how much that helps. Whenever an inexperienced artist is painting...well you're basically up close the whole time but you rarely get to see a masters painting up close so it's very helpful to compare. So cheers for that.

Your very good with that brush painting the yellow flowers.Perfect little flowers every time!!! Is that a nervous shake youve developed to your advantage. I guess I need stronger glasses because I can barely tell when the brush is about to touch the surface so it very much hit and miss.
Insanely superb talent. Any advice for someone who has painted acrylic but has never touched oil on where to start? Love watching these videos and am inspired to try oil.
The last 15 seconds of the camera showing the real close up at an angle is great. You should should show more of close up angle shots. No one else shows them. It seems to help me better.
Bonjour bonsoir, thanks you teacher for free lesson, i learn a lot from your vidéos. QUESTION : why does he use oil over other paints ? Difference in the result or just preference you think ?
BEAUTIFUL. Thank you. how did you do the stones n the river? I love the flowers and the video tutorial. thank you, where can we see the begining of this painting, ? so we can see how to do the rest (river reflections etc.) 😀😌
Dear Micheal, kindlt help me with the trees and grass, pretty please! It's either the brush or my holding technique with is coming in between. I am so sad. what is your brush size n whay brush is it. waiting anxiously for your reply. Regards, your no 1 fan
Excuse for my english I use an internet translation and I do not understand everything you say in the video desolateYour pictures are beautiful I am fan of your styleJust a question what support do you use I saw in a video that the medium is quite thick and you sand itWhat is this supportThank you for your reply and bravo it is superbClaude
Hello Michael, great Videos. I like the music but I'm missing the music info at the end of the video. How about adding the info to the box with your suppliers info? You're one of the green-masters. Some painters have difficulties with the greeens as me. I learned very much from your mixing of greens. So I can work with more green in my paintings - the greens look inherently consistent in my paintings now. Thank you for that! Since I don't use your painting brand - can I mix normal oilpaint like Michael Harding, Old Holland and Blockx with Liquin to speed up the drying? Have you any experience with that? Referring to fat over lean. Maybe I just try it out. Hopefully not getting paintings with cracks and customers complaints in 10 years or so ;-)
I like your comment, another day -----------------. You are good at comments. I am watching the world at this time. Chicago Cubs are ahead 5 to 1. I don't know you brits are interested in baseball. But here it is anyway. Ciao, Fran
Michael, I have been watching a Russian artist that uses a painting knife , a rag, his fingers and hand to paint a picture. He uses his knife almost always and his paintings are masterful. But, I think that you are in a higher plain. You are Mozart, and he is probably in the class of Stravinsky. No one is in a class of Mozart, but you. So there, smoke that in you pipe. Have a coffee a on me. You must think tjat I am somewhat loony , but not being able to walk anymore makes one questionable. Peace , Fran by the way, the Russians name is Igor Sakharov.
I use to paint when younger, until all art supplies, note books with sketches, information on various plants, details. camera. some art work all was taken. It was what paid for my collage courses to become a Physical Therapist. But, did not have apartment insurance, could not afford it, and had a small child. Had to drop out. No real skills, art without PROFF of formal training, hard to get a job, not much left. And easy to become trapped, from paycheck to paycheck. Do not think much came of my art to anyone, once they discovered what was inside the boxes. Art in the 60's on up in Realism was not of significant. Probably got all tossed out.
The water is briliant. And you areactually a good teacher.
Michael, I have been on the internet constantly and I have never seen anyone as good as you. Mozart ,you are!. Top shelf. Fran
I love the way you teached. And even I am just a beginner, I think I am already satisfied with my acrylic painting. The techniques and tips are a big help to me.
Such attention to detail. One can feel bare feet in the grasses, smell the flowers, really experience it all!
i check your channel daily to see the new ones come out. Thank you so much for your time, talent, and sharing. It is greatly appreciated.
Is it even possible to be this talented, it's so amazing, it looks like a photo
This one looks particularly impressive in terms of atmospheric perspective and colour composition. Amazing piece.

Thanks for this brilliant lesson of the flowers xx can't wait to add some to my painting.
Michael
Very, very nice; it goes to show that attention to detail is a very time consuming affair , but vital in capturing the essence of reality.
I enjoyed this tutorial
