    Thank you for giving me the confidence to try more complicated stitches. Your clear instructions are always helpful.

    This is a beautiful design but I find it is little complicated but I will try to make it. You are so smart! Thanks for sharing.

    Mikey, I recently discovered the star stitch, and I love practicing new stitches by making dishcloths. You teach complicated stitches so well. You go slow enough for me that I understand how to make whatever the stitch is. I think this will be my next project. Speaking of stitches, do you, by any chance, have a playlist on your channel for basic crochet stitches and techniques? Keep up the awesome work, Mikey.

      We have a long long list of the crochet stitch library if you are looking for stuff like that. We have 262 videos. ua-cam.com/play/PLbHEcdQw1SaQIfy24MXrvHg29pDvhDNI4.html

      That's a long list of videos. Didn't you have a playlist that was just aimed at beginners that you did for Courtsey Crochet Hooks too? I will certainly look at the crochet stitch playlist. This looks like fun.

    I tried this stitch, I chained total of 29 chains, of course, first chain doesn’t count. I found doing one dc at end of first row works best for me, then after that, i used hdc each row.

    I really like this stitch, and it is really easy I came up with a little acronym for it E.B.L. 1,2 =6 ch 1. Love it. I wonder if I can do that for a blanket or garment.

    I love the star and the pattern is super easy to follow. I just cant get passed the gap on side of this. It makes it look sloppy.
    Anyone figure out how to fill in that gap?

    Mikey, I love your lessons and wouldn't miss what's next. You are always fun. Here is my question: My work seems to be making a parallogram instead of a rectangle. With the right side facing me, the right side looks like it leans right. What am I doing wrong?

    Mikey, I am still learning. Please explain to me on what kind of yarn to use for dishcloths and dishtowels. Also for Hot Pads. Thank you!

      You can use anything that's 100% cotton :)

      Hazel So all three items should be 100% cotton? I did wonder about the hot pads melting. Thank you for your answer :)

    • @nuttyfroot
      @nuttyfroot 10 років тому +1

      Joy Ayers Yes :) Cotton is lovely and absorbent for dishcloths/facecloths etc. And won't melt, like acrylic for hotpads.

    Do you have a left handed demo of this? It would be so much easier?

    I can tell that it matters how many you chain for the foundation. What would you recommend for this? Does it need to be an even number or a multiple of six? I am still new to crocheting thank for you help.

    • @AnnaMillett89
      @AnnaMillett89 8 років тому +1

      It's in multiples of 2, then when you get to the width that you want, add 4 more stitches.

      I think it's because he said to go in between the last two stitches...but I think he's going into the next to the last post stitch.

    I like this stitch, but you should redo the video because you messed up! Well, from what I gather! Other than that, it's a great stitch!

    You are too fast and have no patience to beginners and so harsh.
