Kevin Huerther shoots kind of like Ray Allen, but with a much lower set point.

I think he doesn’t use his legs as much as Allen.
Allen was a 2 motion shooter though.
He didn't shoot anything like Ray Allen. Ray had a two motion shot and jumped a lot on it everytime. That's why he had tennis ball size calves.

A good example of two competitive styles:
1) Tries to control the outcome by getting in their own head & opponents. (Will resort to desperation cheating and dirty tactics).
2) Doesn’t say much. (May the better man win).
Huerter was giving him much lazier passes intentionally, Austin was throwing almost perfect passes every time

Both Austin and Kevin shoot with their feet pointed to the left of the rim. I think it is important to try and keep your body and feet aligned with the hoop.
I'm not going to question two guys who shoot the ball extremely well. Most shooters I've seen, and I'll include myself as a relative novice, step into their shot with the lead foot not quite facing the rim for balance - about the 11 o'clock position for a right-handed shooter. The lead foot ends up somewhere around the 10:00 or 10:30 position on the release so the elbow is aligned with the rim and the shot doesn't veer.

No, absolutely incorrect. Every good shooter’s feet are slightly to very tilted to the side. The release happens with one hand, and this hand should be aligned as much as possible with shooting elbow, shoulder and hip, which is more natural with a tilt
Notice how Austin jumps slightly to his left also? It's a natural motion when having your feets tilted to the left but makes the shot harder as you have to compensate the momentum of your body.
Kevin does not have this little flaw
Austin is an incredible and consistent shooter, especially for such a tiny guy. He'd be even better if he practiced as much as pros do. If he were 9-10 inches taller, he might be a Kyle Korver-type NBA player.

@@Fmoon20 I agree but I assume Mills can move as well as a guy like Duncan Robinson. Maybe not. It's a moot point because Mills isn't 9-10 inches taller. He's very short.

@@ex0ticx0x Kevin is traveling bro. Austin legally takes the 2 steps cuz the first one is on the catch. What Kevin is doing is catching the ball, jabbing with left. Then jabbing with right. Which means he changed his pivot foot. Which is a travel
