Dear UA-cam friends, this video touches base on which perfumes and fragrances I love to use the most in spring. It is interesting to see how our tastes evolve throughout the years and how we change our preferences as the seasons pass year after year. It is also interesting to see if some fragrances remain in the roster and why they do. Spring is a wonderful time of year where the weather and nature both go through dynamic changes and life is in the air like never before. Perfumes are wonderful companions to have on this chlorophyl induced journey. I hope you enjoy this video and check out my other selection of fragrances for perfume beginners here: ua-cam.com/video/yxmQ0gwLEc0/v-deo.html
I love Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EDP (but EDT would work too) for the spring. I can wear this year round but in New England winters I enjoy perfumes like my Coco Noir. But Chance Eau Tendre is so pretty and happy it feels like spring to me.
Smells have such an ability to change our mood; like music. For good and for bad. Once you develop a negative association to a perfume it is a real challenge to turn it around.
I live in Indonesia, so we just have two different seasons which are either raining or not raining…lol. Also with humidity in the air around 70-90% all year round. So spring is like the colder days here when it rains a lot. And my picks are: 1. Carnal Flower, most complimented perfume in my collection. 2. Goutal’s Ninfeo Mio 3. Ambre Narguile by Hermessence 4. Jasmin et Cigarette by Etat Libre d’Orange 5. Bois d’Argent 6. Masculin Pluriel by MFK 7. Coromandel 8. Angel Muse 9. Samsara 10. Toy Boy
I wore a lot Melograno and Calicantus from Santa Maria Novella this spring and summer, I couldn’t get enough of them. Both smell very vintage even like an old Coty or Chanel. So good
Such marvelous choices. There's one I haven't laid my nose: CDG "Tape." I must seek it out! Also, loving and living for the green-screen action on the Eden bottle.
Haha thanks JJ 🥰🙏🏻🌸 Tape is a wacky conceptual perfume. Beautiful poetic bottle that cannot stand on its own. A reject kept alive. Very poetic. And the packaging is awesome too, with the cardboard and vacuum sealed bottle like electronics used to be sealed in some cases in the past.
Hi Dacob! Always look forward to your fragrance review videos. Do you think Coty will bring back Boudior as it was before? It’s impossible to find and the eBay prices are astronomical. Such a shame it’s gone. I’m hoping it will be made again as it was and soon.
Hi CleanFreak. I sure do hope that they will bring back boudoir but for now its all unknown and we do not know if boudoir will ever come back again and if it comes back who will distribute it and how much the formula will potentially change. Its all uncertain unfortunately but I do hope they brung it back. 💖
I love your videos, you keep me company in my loneliness. Omg pure poison, it was the first "real" perfume I wore...and that was it, it revealed something to me. Thank you for the much needed poetry ❤.
How about L'Artisan Parfumeur Premier Figuier. Yes, it's slightly literal but I love the sharp green fig note which softens as the day moves on. Or... Diorissimo. Yes, lily of the valley. (Again, somewhat literal but I love them both in the spring.)
I'm so sad that No 19 bath products aren't available anymore. The bath gel and body creme was heaven. I love that the body creme was strong enough in scent, that on some days I could just have that on and it would work as a perfume, that is how strong and magical the scent was. But of course I mostly layered with either the edt or edp 😉
I agree with you about the body products. There was no better deodorant spray than No. 19. Had I known before it was discontinued, I’d have bought as many bottles of it as Chanel would sell to me.
Oh my! I've thought that it is a new flanker of Eden Cacharel😄 It would be interesting to taste it😊 Thanks for the video, Dacob! PS. Quelques Fleurs - a spring in a bottle 💖
I love dior always have, but chanel i just can not fall in love, years ago i had coco madamoiselle and for some reason just stopped liking it after the bottle finished. Perhaps i should go try it again to see how i feel now. Also you piqued my interest to try 19
I love no. 19 edt, no. 19 Poudre, no. 18, and Eau de Cologne in the spring. I miss the no. 19 deodorant spray. It smelled slightly more powdery than the edt.
I am glad to hear this as I also watch videos while I edit my artwork and I know that for me its always the relaxing videos that I like to watch while working on my art so I take it as a compliment. 🙏🏻💖🌸
I love Chanel and not so much Dior… Francis Kirkdjian made new fragrance for Dior. I will definitely try it. Darling, don’t you like Sisley fragrances?

The way you describe the perfumes❤❤❤. You're such a storyteller, i could listen to you for hours
Thank you H. A.
It’s been slowing where I’m at and been wicked cold. I wore vintage Tabu today and it was beautiful. But I’m so ready for spring already!
May spring come swiftly in your area 💖💖🌸🌅🥰

I love Chanel Eau Tendre Body Cream with the EDP.

Perfectly said Lia. Its very powerful once our minds have locked in on a scent and a memory.
Omg, you look so beautiful. The perfect embodiment of spring-my favorite sesson! ❤
Thank you so much 🥹🥹🙏🏻💖🌅🌸

Had a totally crap day today. Came back to this video to listen to your poetry and storytelling. Thank you for cheering me up! 🌸🌺🌼
Sorry you had a bad day today Nicole! I hope my video managed to cheer you up a bit. Sending you love and positive energy 💖💖💖🌅🌅🌅🌸🌸🌸💗💓

It took years but I've recently madly fallen in love with Amarige and Organza von Givenchy. They smell like opulent spring flower bouquets to me. ❤
Great tuberose
Love love love pure poison and so glad you mentioned it. And Dominique Ropion is an amazing perfumer. Amazing choices 🎉🎉🎉r
Pure Poison OG formula is just heavenly 🥰🥰🥰🌸
I love Eden!
Me too

L'Instant de Guerlain is my favorite for spring but i also love your pickings Dacob
Thank you dear. I love l’instant too. Its more a summery one for me though. 💖
Dacob 🍸 Gin & tonic smells like tape also. Even with a squeeze of lime, still tape. 🍈

Lilly of the valley is a classic for spring. Fig on the other hand is a smell I really enjoy in summer 🥰💖
Diorissimo EDT for early spring.
Delicious 🌸

That sounds incredible. No19 seriously needs the bath and body range because it was so beautiful. 💚💚💚
Not even lotion?! That’s just wrong!! 🤬
Oh my! I've thought that it is a new flanker of Eden Cacharel😄 It would be interesting to taste it😊 Thanks for the video, Dacob!
PS. Quelques Fleurs - a spring in a bottle 💖
Thank you Nata 🥰🙏🏻💖 Eden does have a flanker but it has been discontinued a long time ago.

You look so good... had to be said!
l love your videos... all of them!
Thank you so much Nathalie 🙏🏻💖
I love no. 19 edt, no. 19 Poudre, no. 18, and Eau de Cologne in the spring. I miss the no. 19 deodorant spray. It smelled slightly more powdery than the edt.
Been wearing No18 edt all day today. What a gem 🥰
I wanna buy 19 for my birthday 🙂. That's will be my first chanel perfume (and I'm pretty sure not my last).😎
No19 is a wonderful choice as first Chanel perfume. It is so full of history and poetry 🥰🌅
I had no idea you also had this chanel!! Just heard about it from JJ Colbourne
Yes, I have this channel too, dedicated to perfumes 🥰🥰🥰💖
FYI I watch your videos while I edit my photos late at night
I am glad to hear this as I also watch videos while I edit my artwork and I know that for me its always the relaxing videos that I like to watch while working on my art so I take it as a compliment. 🙏🏻💖🌸
What’s that necklace that you’re wearing ❤
Its a miniature Chanel bag from their summer 2021 collection 🥰
❤❤❤

Darling, don’t you like Sisley fragrances?
I do not own any Sisley fragrances at the moment. I like them but right now not enough to warrant a full bottle purchase from me. 💖
❤❤❤❤❤
