I always stayed at Pop Century on my Disney trips. I either take the bus or Sky Liner to other parks and DSprings. Food area is good, arcade is fun, walking trails was enjoyable. When I go back I’ll stay there again💙🔥
I agree, we really like this resort for a value resort option! These "issues" don't really bother us but we have heard from other people they were frustrating for them. But Pop is always a winner for us!
We stayed at Pop three different times back in the early 2000s when my girls were younger. We loved it. Stayed in the 50s section first, and the 70s section the next two stays. To me these type of resorts say Disney all day. They have an atmosphere that the moderates and deluxes do not have. During to off season back then I was getting the value rooms for $54 a night. Last year in April 2022, my daughter and I stayed at All Star Music in two adjoining rooms. It cost me $1000 for both rooms for three nights. That ended my stay on Disney property. Never again, not at these extremely expensive prices. I am getting a two bedroom condo right on 192 for eight nights in September for way less than $1000. I love Pop and All Star Music because I am a musician. We stayed at Music at least ten times back when prices were much cheaper as I stated. But I cannot justify paying the astronomically high prices as they are these days. Oh and they used to have really good food there also. Not just the typical fast food junk stuff as they have mostly these days. There used to be really good plate meals with good stuff.
I totally get it! It's such a fun resort but prices have definitely increased. Hopefully, with some of the new discounts Disney is offering, you can get back soon! Thanks for watching and sharing!! 💜
We think this is a great resort to stay at for people with and without kids. We have stayed here in both stages of our life. However, after talking with many people who have stayed here, the little things they weren't expecting can take away from the magic of an expensive vacation. So we were just hoping to bring those little things to light to help people prepare and have a wonderful trip and decide if this is the right place for them. Thanks for watching our video and checking out our channel!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 💜 And yes, it would be so disappointing to not want to ride the Skyliner and then get there and find out it's your only option.
Thanks so much for checking out our channel! Yes, the busses start running 45 minutes before park opening and continue running 1 hour after park closing which in our experience is plenty of time to get back to your resort if you stay all the way until closing! If you can, we alway recommend staying in the parks for a little bit after the fireworks anyway. There’s always such a rush to get to the busses after the fireworks that it’s more fun to stay in the theme park than stand in a bus line. Hope this helps!! ❤️
Can you push the bed up against the wall? I co-sleep with my toddler and don’t want her falling off the bed. I tried bed rails, but they don’t work well.
Sadly, no the bed frames can't move. I have had friends though that have requested a King bed so an adult could sleep on either side. Or you can ask Disney for bed rails (if they are available). It's not a perfect option but if you put them on the pull out bed they do take up most of the mattress.
Don't forget to bring your sleep aids to this resort. The walls here are paper thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms. Last time I stayed here there was a TV from the other room making noise all night!
YES! That's a great point. We don't comment a lot on the sound quality of the rooms because we travel with a sound machine for the baby and honestly, that little thing knocks out all noise. But without out it, I could imagine you would hear your neighbors. We never leave home without our sound machine! Thanks for watching our videos and sharing you insight! 💜
I have heard that from others too! We are heading there next and should have a video of it soon. I’m excited to check it out and compare! Thanks for watching our channel and sharing!
First video of yours i've seen and i loved it! Im staying at Pop Century for the first time later this year and its so good to know more about it! Amazing!
Awe, thanks so much!! That's so kind of you to say. Thanks for stopping in and checking us out. And have an AMAZING vacation! Pop Century really is a great resort. You'll have so much fun! 💜
Hi, thanks for reaching out! That's a hard choice because they are both great resorts! I tend to lean towards the resorts with Skyliner access because it's so convenient to get to Epcot and Hollywood Studios that way! If no one in your group has a fear of heights, it's a great way to get to the parks (weather permitting). Because of that, we have stayed at Pop more than Movies but I do love the character statues at Movies. We did just post a video of our stay at Movies too. I'll link that one in case you want to check it out. If you have any specific questions, I'll be happy to help if I can. Thanks for watching our video and reaching out. I hope you have an amazing trip!! 💜
Yes! It really is a great resort for so many people. We enjoy our stay every time we are here. And that 60s section is so much fun + great access location!! Thanks for checking out our channel and connecting with us! ❤️
@@MagicalResortsGuide I ironically just booked a vacation to go back there in February for my little brothers 35th birthday. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve went there in 2008, 2014, & now 2023. Can’t go wrong for the prices and in February it’s cheaper for some reason. Anyways Thanks for the reply & Great Content. God Bless.✌️

Basically, if you don't have kids, stay somewhere else? It's a value resort, so you get what you pay for and these reasons seem pretty trivial.

Great video! You bring up valid points, especially for those who don't want to use the Skyliner.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 💜 And yes, it would be so disappointing to not want to ride the Skyliner and then get there and find out it's your only option.
Definitely kid friendly!!! The sky tram is so nice if the bus lines are hours long!! The tram moves so much faster!!!!
Agreed!! Especially at the end of the night after fireworks. If you are good to ride, it really is the fastest way at this resort! 💜
Question about the transportation. Are buses open late so we can enjoy the fireworks and take advantage of staying later at the parks?

Pop Century is “kid themed “ and a little more budget friendly. Thanks again for the great info:)
You for watching and sharing!! 💜
I had lot more fun at All-Stars Movies than Pop Century personally!

I love Pop Century
Yea, the cons don't outweigh the pro for us! We still love a stay here! 💜
My husband and I are taking our college daughter soon & we are going to all 4 parks. Struggling between pop & movies
