I see people talking about the waves in the comments so i figured I'd say something about my experience with the sea. I just got out of the Navy but when the ship was underway (out at sea) i used to stand on the missile deck after doing maintenance and just watch the ocean roll by. To me the waves always looked like they had plastic just barely holding the water in shape. Surface tension makes the waves look so other worldly if you ask me. No camera has ever done it justice. I also love to watch the wake of the ship, literally could sit there for hours and watch. Thanks for the vibes Geebz!
The North Shore is a magical place on earth. I missed the Big Eddie by like a week a few years back while there on vacation. I got to see basically this sight with a bunch of pro-surfers and locals just surfing 20 foot swells for like a crowd of 10 of us on the beach. Thanks for transporting me back!
i dig the tone of the track. also the two guys who nearly collide but their boards pass over each other has me imagining how often that must happen. they didnt even flinch
Me and the family used to love visiting Waimea - the hike to the falls was one of our favorite “easy” hikes - and glad to see it’s as impressive as ever!
This is great. I'm taking a relaxation break at work and this is doing the trick. Love the drone track also. Would love to see more of these peppered into the channel!
What a beautiful video, so calming. The ocean is such a force of nature it's amazing!! I love watching the surfers. I've only been to the beach a few times in my life. When I did visit I was in awe!! Thank you for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️🤙🏄
Very relaxing watching these waves come in. I'd love to get a drone to film the beaches out here. Also, beginning of your track sounded a bit like Radiohead, Backdrifts. Nice stuff.
Great soundtrack to some bone shattering surf!! Love the drums hafway through very trip hop from the late 90’s please check out The Young Gods, you’ll really enjoy their style🤘🏼
I was stationed at K-Bay MCBH, and there were quite a few of us that would take the trip to Waimea Bay once or twice a week. Kailua was fun, but Waimea was best for getting tossed around in the waves and jumping off the rock. Waimea is quite literally heaven on earth! 💪🤘😎
When you make your return, I’d love to see a breakdown of one of the new elder songs off of innate passage. My favorites are Catastasis and Endless Return but the whole album is incredible. Their best work no doubt
Dude. Trade lives with me. Texas is really popular, we've got a coast and everything. My wife is a solid 7 and my kid is really great, you'll love her. You'll also get a couple of dogs. Deal?
Geebz two new periphery singles is out! Would be a bomb reaction to both! By the way, love this backing track. Reminds me of old halo music haha. Hang loose my friend.
Now that is the life! I won't be rotting away in the long cold winters for much longer.. Let's put it this way, in the next 2 years, I'll be in Hawaii unless I'm dead and buried! 😜😜
Awesome video! What's the biggest wave you've ever surfed geebz? Edit: Came to this channel for Tool reactions...subscribed for additional awesome content!
Around 15' face, when I was younger and that was not planned. Paddled out when it was 8-10' and a new swell jumped - pooped my pants and that was it - almost didn't make it back in. :D
Yeah this was a sick video geebz. Thanks and great shots! Also please checkout more circa survive, GET OUT or ONLY THE SUN ALSO Another excellent composition is “THE SOUND OF ANIMALS FIGHTING” the song ANOTHER LEATHER LUNG

Absolutely breathtaking brotha aloha
This is just what i needed today. Thank you for the serenity break!
Maybe it's the weed talking but this is therapeutic!! Did you film this?
Easy to see why people get hooked
The waves are huge. Wow...
The waves are mesmerizing, especially from that perspective.
Such a crazy perspective, no land whatsoever, just empty rolling waves.
nice! earlier in the storm here, surfers in pacifica were catching some massive waves

Geez, have you seen the footage from the new biggest wave ride world record? 115 footer. Incredible.
Absolute MADNESS!!!
We need you to react to periphery wildfire that just came out! Enjoy those waves.
I dig it
Just...❤️....

Deal! Keep the kids though!
Oh WOW! Amazing footage Geebz. Giant waves. How big are those?
Morning Adam! The sets were almost 30' - when you go outside just look at a telephone poll :)
@@KeyOfGeebz haha. Wow I can't imagine. Plus..... I can't swim 😂
You should get an underwater drone. Film fish on no wave days.
Got one coming actually :)

So cal had 25 ft waves last week was nits
When you say ‘caught’ do you mean just the footage or were you also surfing some of these beauts? 😁✌️
OMG right, it sounds like I paddle out. Nope, when the waves get like that I piddle out :D
@@KeyOfGeebz Ha ha……right on bud. I don’t blame you 😉🤙
Please please please Geebz do Periphery’s new song when you film next

Looks like a guy could make some money selling jets rides out there.
Waimea? Whoops, sorry different country!
You need to react to the NEW periphery songs! Great video btw :)
Yea, so excited to give it a listen. Pop it out on the channel next week!
Sooo, It took me close to 30 seconds before I realized I wasn’t watching seagulls hunting for lunch
Hey I don’t mind watching this either! I heard they almost held the Eddie
Yea, there were some 35'+ sets that day but the wind was on it :(
