Musicians perform in 'Louie Louie' marathon concert

A 24-hour 'Louie Louie' concert was held at an art gallery in Southeast Portland. The event marked the 60th anniversary of the song's recording.

this was the beginning of the night ..the place was packed with people-not everyone was in the music room..some were watching it on a large screen in the art building--the younger bands were amazing and experimental with the song--if you weren't there you have no idea the electricity there --i was proud to be involved in a free form positive gathering..
