- Its Tuesday Night after our Nor'easter yesterday, temps are up and raccoons are out and about getting in a top off before more cold weather sets in.
Harriett and the gang of 7 come by for some one on one time on the deck, and to get their chicken dog cravings satisfied.

Hello Angie and Jim - We lost our oldest and dearest raccoon family member, Zu-Zu, this past weekend because of a careless driver on our road. My husband found her by the side of the road right after she was hit. She was still alive then, so he brought her home and laid her on the lawn while he fetched something to keep her warm and protected. Before he could call the Vet, she passed. My husband buried her under one of our apple trees in the backyard. She was our first raccoon who came to us as an injured, orphaned baby in 2017. We fed her every night and she lived under a tarp which covered our woodpile on the deck. It took some time but she recovered fully from her back leg injuries. She went on to live inside our large oak tree in the front yard. She raised four babies there and then the grand babies appeared. This is all leading up to a big THANK YOU, JIM, for making a video about your raccoon burial and pet cemetery. They have helped us thru our grieving over losing her. Also, thank you for giving us valuable information on caring and feeding all of our raccoon children. We will be forever grateful to you and Angie.
