That on 27th Sep 2024 (Friday) one minor girl's parents belonging to majority community in Guruvannapeta Village in Komuravelli Mandal of Siddipet District alleged that she was raped by her neighbor Sharfuddin-21 years and on complaint the Cheryala Police booked him under POCSO Act and arrested him and sent him to Judicial Custody.
Some anti-social elements belonging to BJP/RSS made a vedio viral and assembled more than 250-300 people in that Village on 29th Sep 2024 (Sunday) and burnt the entire house of Sharfuddin and damaged his JCP, Car and two wheelers of neighbors parked outside.
This all hooliganism happened infront of Seen Circle Inspector of Police and Raju Sub-Inspector of Police Cheryala.Here the question arises that who permitted this BJP/RSS workers to take law into their own hands and burnt down the house of Sharrfuddin and damage the JCP, Car & two wheelers.Why was the police a mute spectator....?
Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT said rapist is a rapist whether he is from any community and he should be hanged irrespective of cast, creed or religion but taking law into their own hands and burning the houses and properties is not condemnable but rises questions about implementation of law & order.
Mr Khan requested the Director General of Police Telangana to depute special teams to Guruvannapeta Village to identify the person who made vedios viral and asked the public to assemble and the role of local Circle Inspector and Sub-Inspector of Police Cheryala should also be inquired and all the accused more than 250-300 should be arrested and their names appear in FIR.
Mr Khan said since Congress came to power and Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy became the Cheif Minister of Telangana this is the 22nd incident in wich muslims have been attacked in Telangana with police a mute spectator.Mr Khan said in recent rape incidents if the accused is from majority community (Bodhan & Kamareddy) the police is very linienant abd if the accused is from minority community (Jainoor & Guruvannapeta) the BJP/RSS workers are burning properties, damaging houses and Masjis to which police is silent against perpetrators.
