Driving Around Downtown Jonesboro, Arkansas and Arkansas State University in 4k Video

Filmed on Friday, September 6 2024, I drive around Jonesboro, AR to see what's going on.
After the United States acquired this territory in the Louisiana Purchase of 1803, American settlers eventually made their way to an area near Jonesboro. The permanent settlement of Jonesboro was established in 1859.
Arkansas State College (now Arkansas State University) was established in 1909, a year in which the first "horseless carriages" were driven in the city.

My hometown. The big seven story building on the left is about to be torn down. This was the center of activity in the early 70s and all of these stores were filled. Christmas parade was held down this very street as well when I was a child.
