Wowww. This is tooo accurate! I’ve told him he projects his past onto me a lot. His ex really did him foul and left him for someone else. She didn’t just abandon him tho, she abandoned their children too. I understand he doesn’t want a repeat of the past, but because he’s fearful of a repeat, he tends to take his past out on me at times. This was beautiful though, because we love each other so deeply, although we fuss at times. Thank you for this, it helped put things into perspective.
No way i was going through the same thing 😢 he hurt my feelings with his baseless doubts and compares me to his ex! Once he even said “When you're good to me, you remind me of my ex because she was like you in the beginning and no matter what you do for me, I'll always see you the same way." He’s so scared of seeing a different side of me! In order to protect my feelings and in the moment of anger i made his fears worse tho I love him so much, more than myself, and I cry all the time because we’re not communicating. We haven’t spoken in over a month! All I wish for now is to see him one last time, hug him, and cry in his arms. But I know that’s impossible, so I’ve just accepted it! 😢
