I’ve seen the entirety of The Originals and I have to say this opening scene with Klaus and Hayley is one of the most beautiful and touching scenes in the series.
To be fair TVD has had plenty of deaths Lexi, Rose John Luke, that entire witch family Elijah worked with (the one that took Bonnie’s powers and Damon set his son on fire their sister was working with klaus and she died too) Grams Aka Sheila Bennett
Klaus was already in my top 5 from TVD then I watched this show and yeah he’s my number 2. Shiiiit for my list it’s Damon as my number 1, Klaus 2nd, Elijah 3rd, Bonnie 4th, and Rebekka 5th.
For some reason I read that klause and Elena had twins from a one night stand ???? It claims it’s this episode but this is when Haley is supposed to give birth

this is one of my fav eps, the scene with hayley and klaus, rebekah coming back, and the overall acting was incredible

I thought the season started slow but it ended well, and I loved the beginning of season 2 as well. Season 3 was also strong imo.
