I think they should allow us to convert iron ore to the wrought iron.
My guess is that's what it was supposed to be. It makes zero sense for us to create iron ingots from the über rare wrought iron when we can just bust some rocks.
if they let us craft it it would make remys quest pointless so they will never do that

Get 100 wrought iron to do a statue so crafting wrought iron makes sense since remy only gives 1-5 wrought iron a day when we need at least several chairs-fencing and a 100+ day wait for a statue it would actually work to also have a second way to get wrought iron when we aren’t getting it from remy like the green buttons weren’t just done through the cupcakes for the button event you could also get green buttons from doing weekly quests for scrooge having a second way to get something makes things go a bit faster no one wants to wait 100 days to do a statue not when chairs-fencing take way less than 100 days to do
@@DarkN1nja77also crafting wrought iron makes sense since we all have access to a crafting table and there’s no way they can justify only giving us one way to get enough wrought iron for the statue with the wrought iron being at 100 wrought iron for the statue since it’s hard to keep up with the wrought iron for stuff to put outside of Remys restaurant.people would still do Remys quests we’d just be able to craft extra wrought iron in the process to do the chairs-fencing a lot more easier plus the statue one as well since sometimes you get less than 5 wrought iron daily.crafting wrought iron wouldn’t make Remys quests pointless we’d just have a second way to get wrought iron to make things a bit more easier like one day people can craft all chairs,the next days a person can do the pathway slabs,tables,fencing and then the statue and then craft extra wrought iron for if they give us more wrought iron items to make later on.your idea of only having one way to get wrought iron makes the statue of wrought iron completely pointless to craft since there’s no way the devs can justify the wrought iron for the statue being at 100 wrought iron and not all of us can do multiplayer because not all of us know someone else who plays this game.

There has to be a second way for us to do wrought iron especially if the devs want to have the wrought iron statue be at over 5-15 days to make a statue
Remy straight up disrespecting us with how little Wrought Iron he gives us for the amount of work we have to do.

@saltycat662:technically the chairs and tables just take time but are still achievable/can be done the only one that shouldn’t be as high for wrought iron is the statue of wrought iron. The chairs,tables pathway slabs and fencing aren’t as annoying to deal with to make the statue one is the most horrible one. The chairs,tables, pathway slabs and fencing can at least eventually be fully done it would almost be better just not to include the 100 wrought iron statue. The chairs,tables,fencing and pathways slabs are less tedious as considering people have to add in a piano and seating I don’t think we have to make the picture exactly 100% the same as the one remy gives us I don’t even have tables yet and remys not hounding me to make tables until I get enough wrought iron. The statue is the main problem more than the tables,chairs,fencing and pathway slabs. It’s gonna take people forever to get to 100 wrought iron to make a statue
Plus it takes only 1-2 wrought iron to make the wrought iron fencing and pathway slabs,5 wrought iron to make chairs, and 15 wrought iron make tables so that’s not too bad for those wrought iron items those are at least achievable without help. The statue one shouldn’t even exist if it’s gonna be at 100+ wrought iron

The fencing actually doesn’t take that long to do depending on how much fencing you want to use since you only need 1 wrought iron every single time to do 3 wrought iron fencing at a time
I just add to the fencing when I want to as I go along
The statue one however will be done in 5-50 years,the fencing-chairs one are doable and aren’t as bad

Very first day, I accidentally crafted my wrought iron into iron ingot. The third day, he asked for 5 tinker parts and gave me one wrought iron💀. Remy keeps saying mcduck gives it to him. Then why can't we buy it from him?

The quest should consistently give 5 iron or the requirements for the furniture should be lowered.
@BumblyBear:the statue one is the only one that needs to be lowered by a lot the chairs-fencing are doable but they do need to up the number wrought iron they give us for all the remy quests for this one while lowering the wrought iron needed for the statue by a lot they could also lower the tables to like 10 and have the statue one be at 15
@BumblyBear:also if they lowered the statue one by a lot then people could do multiple statues in the eatting area outside or at least make up back statues to place somewhere else but the statue one does need be to lowered by a lot and they do need to do the 5 wrought iron daily for all of Remys quests for this one

Crafting a table takes 15 rot iron if I get to a day that’s eight days. If I want the statue which is 100 and if all I get is two a day that’s 50 days close to two months before I can get the statue. This is a disgusting way to receive a piddly amount of wrought iron.
Not to mention all the resources, time and cooking. They still haven't adjusted the more so for cooking. I finished star path and all the cooking from 2 star paths and remi and got 1 out was a coin. Never use the machine because it didn't drop orbs. My testing it takes 150 minimum to almost 300 to get 1 coming morb. Crazy. more.. could have at least let some of these useless memorabilia orbs go to regular memories. Such a waste. Took me 48 to complete memories for special, the rest was a waste, only 20 coins for each.

I made 25 dishes for stitch and got 2 iron! 😭😭😭 I hate it. I'm sure they just did this so we would deplete our caches and it would force us to grind more.
Remy is taking advantage of us. Instead of paying us fair wages, he treats us like a slave! Especially after all the serving we've done for him through Star Paths. I'm about to gather the villagers and protest outside his restaurant lol.

@@saltycat662 Check the jobs to see how much pay you are supposed to get (coins) - my last one said pay was 6,000, but I got 1,000 -
I’ve only got one wrought iron these last two days. One!!! It’s ridiculous.
And we should be able to order the items from Scrooge’s after we’ve crafted them once, especially the fence
The Mulan update is so great. It really is, but the Remy daily quest is a rip off. You have to cook so much food and waste so many resources, and you get one wrought iron. ONE?????
@RobertoLombardiActor:its randomized so sometimes you get 2,3 or 5 wrought iron which still isn’t enough wrought iron and they don’t give us a way to do more than whatever number of wrought iron we get in a day since it will take 100 days or more to do the ornate Parisian statue the chairs-fencing can at least be done since you can do 3 fencing out of 1 wrought iron
@RobertoLombardiActor:but 5 wrought iron at a time is still better than 2,3 and 1 by a lot. So they could change it to be 5 wrought iron for all Remys restaurant delievery service quest to speed things up just a bit while still making it a grind
Remy’s quest requires you to have all the characters that are unlocked in Dreamlight Valley, through friendship quests or realms. So newer players can’t access these quests immediately
I think you were supposed to be able to craft the wrought iron from the iron instead of the other way around

I was dumb and used the first 5 and made them into regular iron ingots 😖 then I accidentally gifted one to Mushu. I’ve never done valley visits so this is gonna take me a long time to finish this quest 😆
I did the same thing, but I don't think it was dumb. Who would ever dream in 1 million years the game would let you convert the rare wrought iron into regular iron! I thought it was a total disaster. It's taking me four more days to build up enough to finish that quest.
I got 6 wrought iron for the first time then the next day I got only one. I thought it was going to be like Scrooge’s quest with the green buttons where he gave 50 after each quest.

I really hope they fix this soon!! I can't afford to play multi-player so no pixel shards for me As much money as we put into the premium shop and buying moonstones, we should be able to visit other players' like we do in another game I play.

Thank you! I realize people can duplicate by visiting others, I can’t be the only one that rarely ever visits. I’m hoping this will become a gradual increase. I only earned one at first and then yesterday I got two, so 🤞 they will start increasing every few days?
I think the amount is random and dependent on the quest you receive
@debbie1483 - As Serroh mentioned, the amount appears to be random. I have only gotten 1 wrought iron per day right from the beginning, while I look longingly at the patio chairs, tables, and statues. :(

Also Remi asked us to set up the whole outside venue and THEN he gets stingy on the ingredients to make it? Disney missed the game on this quest because they should have had the full quest of the full scene that Remy asked for. This is so bugged and not thought through.

Yesterday’s dasher request from remy wasn’t to cook something. It was to get some gems for Scrooge and I got 5 wrought iron. It wasn’t that bad since I already had them in storage. Wrought iron has become the new iron ore!
This happened to me today. I had to make 5 dishes 5 times each, so a total of 25 dishes for Stitch and I only received 2 wrought irons. I was like that's not really fair.

I know this video is about something totally different than what I'm about to comment about, but I just realized it a little bit ago. The timer in Daisy's Boutique changed. It shows us how long before we can do it again, but we don't have to wait 24 hours anymore. I did mine a little after 10am this morning and when I checked the timer is said I can do it again in 14 hours.
It resets the same time as Scrooge's now
I think they should change the Crafting algorithm to enable us to craft the Wrought Iron from Iron Ingots instead of it being the other way around.

I'm fine with the Remy quests. It's when I go to move something and it's slow as a snail that I have a problem with.
Several days for chairs-fencing is at least more doable than waiting 100 days to do a statue since you at least get multiple chairs-fencing within those several days vs taking a 100 days to do a statue
Can confirm 5 for one DreamDash remy deal. But mostly 3 and 1 per Dream Dash for me.
And if I ever get that 25 dishes for 1 wi I am absolutely not gonna do it. That is not worth my time.

I agree. So much time and raw ingredients and materials spent on making items and we get 1 wrought iron. What the heck. What's the point.
I wish you could play like most of us on a quest that don't have all of these people to multi-play with you and have all of this stuff done in a day...

@maritzarosales6528:its most likely because of the wrought iron rates half the time being at 1,2, and 3 wrought iron mainly 1&2.making 3&5 wrought iron a bit more rare to get. It’s also a permanent quest since its time gated

&2 wrought iron bars as payment for the amount of quests that I did so I’ve had to add in non wrought iron items in my sitting area outside of Remys restaurant complete with a cooking iron stove area
I don't mind that it takes so long, I was desperate for daily bonuses so I'd have something to do in DDV in between updates, and this is a very fun one to do imho. Imagine the satisfacion when you get the statue, I am in absolutely no rush and I love this addition

The quests are cute and not repetitive, they give users a chance to interact with several characters that we didn't have a reason to talk to before, and if I could craft all these items super quickly I'd have no incentive to stay on DDV more than 5 minutes per day if I'm not decorating. I am so happy they implemented this, it's the daily bonus we wanted and doesn't feel grindy at all!
I agree with you but I'm also disappointed. 😂 It's cool to have permanent daily quests, like daisy's as well. But the rewards should be a proportionate to the effort and the resources. So, I agree for the statue, but as base game craftable items the other stuff should need less iron to craft or we can have a little more with quests. Or more quests per day, so, if you want, you can obtain more and redecorate all your valley. I love industrial style and I'm always so happy to unlock iron or wood items because I want to make my valley more industrial as my RL home. But so far all the industrial or steampunk items are so expensive for resources. So as I said, I agree with the slow grind mood but I'm also disappointed because if I want to make a biome or the entire valley with the same vibe it will take me forever to have enough resources.
But I feel Devs are gonna work on that in future. They've changed a little the working of daisy's quest so I'm trustful.😂

Ya im in the middle. Im usually busy so i dont spend alot of time playing so it doesnt bother me too much. But the amount of wrought iron we get after completing a quest is kind of ridiculous. At least give us 10 as a reward.
@sagelovescoffee:5 is even acceptable despite being low since the chairs start at 5 wrought iron and it would only take2 to 3 delivers to get 15 if they went by 5 or 10’s. Plus they also need to let us craft wrought iron since it makes no sense long term to do iron ingots out of wrought iron the new iron ore now when we can’t even keep wrought iron around. I’ve had to add non wrought iron items to my seating around Remys because of the wrought iron rates I haven’t even done the wrought iron tables yet because I can’t even get to 15 wrought iron yet because the game keeps giving me 1 or 2 or 3 wrought iron to whatever amount of wrought iron I usually have in stock
What gets me is why do I have to cook the food and i cannot be able to use what's already in my inventory.
Like for chairs-fencing are justifiable because you can do one at a time and add to them as you go on. But the statue one needs to be fixed to be less than 100+ wrought iron. The chairs-fencing aren’t as annoying to do since you still get chairs-fencing in the very end. The statue one is completely undoable because it will take too long to get a statue. The chairs-fencing you can do a little bit at a time and add to them as you go on. The statue one is the main problem
Even when I was working, I would play Dreamlight Valley every day. If you play just a few hours a day, you can get stuff done too.
I did Remy's quest yesterday and today nothing. Kinda stinks I'm trying to craft the stone dragon it's so cute.
Legit. I've done the quests every day and earned enough to make one table after making the required chair. That's it. Several times I've had to make a bunch of stuff and received a single bar. It's not worth it.
It is like I am looking for a needle in a haystack.

Least obtain 1-5 wrought iron a day and then add to the 1-5 wrought iron daily to do multiple chairs and multiple tables. But the statue is the main problem overall since it’s at 100+ wrought iron. The chairs,Tables,Fencing and pathways slabs yes might take several days to multiples of but at least in the end you get chairs,tables,pathway slabs and fencing of wrought iron less annoying for the chairs-pathway slabs to be at their numbers of wrought iron slabs. You can just do the tables,chairs,pathway slabs and the fencing one at a time and still get chairs-fencing. The statue one is main problem because that one is gonna take like 100+ days. The chairs-fencing in the end you at least chairs-fencing even if you do one chair-fencing at a time. The statue one needs to be dialed back to less than 100 days and less than 100 wrought iron the chairs-fencing iam working on first because those are less annoying to deal with and I can get at least chairs-Fencing out of wrought iron. I don’t think the chairs-fencing are the problem since those can be done without using hacks. The statue one needs to be dialed back for the amount of wrought iron needed to make it.

It is possible to get 5 wrought iron.. I just think it's rare. My remy quest today was for 10 dream shards and I got 5 wrought iron bars for it

Getting rod iron through the glitch that you’re saying which is using discord, and even going to other peoples towns is not workable for young people or four people who do not want or afraid that their game may be corrupted by other players. This is just another reason why D DV is fast becoming a throwaway game

I love Mulan and Mushu. I really wanted to be excited for the new daily and event. However, everything has gone wrong with the game, and I don't even want to play anymore. I've put in almost 500 hours and hundreds of dollars, and I'm ready to walk away now.
But I definitely agree there has to be another way for the devs to give us wrought iron for us to speed things up iam still working on making wrought iron items because I have like only 6 wrought iron that Iam trying not to use up until I can get to 15 or more wrought iron to do more chairs,more fencing and more pathway slabs and to start doing tables. I think the picture remy has us replicating just has too many tables and chairs for an outdoor seating area when he also expects us to do a huge statue when his restaurant already has a seating inside inside of his restaurant .

Yep, the cast iron rate of production is stupid. First actual time I have whined about anything DDLV related. I do not get why it is so stupid.
I can’t even collect the glitch dust cause no one I know plays I wish we could collect it without multiplayer. But yeah it is stupid. I have only ever gotten one or two wrought iron per day. Let us turn normal iron into it or put up the number of the iron per day you can get.

The rewards and idea from it are great in my mind, I just wish it was more realistic for the players that live very busy lives and can’t get on every day for months to craft one item. At least 5 wrought iron a day guaranteed would be better imo
@@Serroh I definitely would feel better with at least 5 of wrought iron. I was reward 1 yesterday for making that little brat Vanellope dragon breath food and I thought was like noway this has to be a mistake!
@Serroh I suspect the second iron ingot option in the crafting menu was supposed to be wrought iron created using 2 iron ingots. If so, hopefully fixed with next patch/update
Dailies in MMOs I played I always found annoying; I hope that isn't the direction this game is going.
You’ve don’t even get paid per dish like you do in the restaurant serving meals. 1k and few blocks of iron is naff. I have my game modded so it’s not a problem for me but boy I’d be p*ssed off if i played on console.
Has anyone else completed the Mulan friendship journey through Level 10? I love the outfit but it has a weird brown basket sticking out from the back that does not seem to go with the outfit. Has anyone else noticed this? ~~~ Edited to add: I also noticed that the Star Path has at least 2 tasks directing us to complete a Dreamsnap. They are also spaced out quite far so you can't stall the completion of one of them so you can complete two at once. I have obviously not completed the Star Path (I have to wait at least until next week's Dreamsnap challenge) but I do hope there aren't more of these same Star Path tasks ahead. Maybe they are trying to slow us down, but when a person plays a certain way, it is disturbing to have artificially-created delays or sidelines in something as important as a Star Path.

@@Megz1794 That makes sense. I did suspect that it was supposed to be part of the outfit; however, it sticks out crookedly and away from the body roughly at a 45 degree angle, and there is also a disturbance in the clothing that is incongruous with the basket as an accessory, IMHO.
I highly doubt the wrought iron statue is suppose to be at 100 wrought iron it has to be at least less than that. 5-15 days for chairs-tables isn’t that bad that’s not as long of a wait to do chairs-tables . I think the remy delievery service has to be broken because no way can they justify a statue being at 100 wrought iron and for Everyone to get everything done with the amount of wrought iron they are giving us as rewards

And you better HOPE that you get the quest before 6 pm... because Remy sleeps and his sleep schedule is off (it's suppose to be 6-10pm)... it's midnight right now for me and he's still sleeping. I have seen on Reddit that he won't wake up until 3 am.. which is reset time for me in Central Time zone. So no ONE wrought iron for me today, I guess. lol Again WHO is leading this team... where is the QUALITY CONTROL? *smh That person needs to be replaced!

I’ve heard reports of cakes being stuck in various ways and haven’t heard of a way to get access to them other than contacting Gameloft.

I have a Cake Stuck in the Cabinet in Remy's Realm playing on Switch. I have gotten the Companion animal for it but I'm also trying to Get Memorabilia Companion Animal I know I have the Trophies and other Realms where cakes will be.But I think I get one cake that I can pick or none because of that Stupid Glitch in Remy's Realm.I have 65 I have picked so far and you need 200.
I don’t have cake stuck but I have hockey gear stuck between a lamp and a crafting table in Goofy’s house.
All 3 of my cakes are stuck in the water in Moana's realm. So I am patiently waiting for the fix. I finished the other two

This is really stupid getting one wrought. Iron a day. So in the 45 days, hopefully going in once every single day for over a month. We have completed the furniture. Are we also post to fail this.

This defeats the whole purpose of a cozy game. It shouldn’t be a punishment to be able to craft the cute items that they know everyone wants!!
Yesterday I got two. Other than that only one per day. I cant do the glitch powder duplicate thing.

@arianegutmann9971:the decorations actually just need the rewards to be upped for remy other wise the chairs-fencing are doable Remys reward system is the only thing that needs a fixing and since it’s a permanent quest to do to tide people over until the next update they could just fix Remys reward system to be at 5-10 wrought iron and get rid of the 1-3 wrought iron
@arianegutmann9971:people are running into 1&2 wrought iron because the game has 1&2 wrought iron as more common than 3&5 wrought iron the 5 one is most likely the most rare.

Likely most common along with 2 wrought iron so that happens. The 3 and 5 wrought iron are most likely more rare but at least you can make 3 fencing out of 1 wrought iron so you can start on a fence at least

I personaly really like that new daily quests. I don't mind the slower grind but I get why people don't like it...
@clairequos6532:it doesn’t need to be this slow though like they could still make it a grind and do like 5 to 10 wrought iron at a time only with no 1-4 wrought iron rewards and speed things up just a tiny bit or dial back the statue one to be at least 5 or 15 wrought iron there’s no need to have the statue one be at 100 wrought iron when a lot of the players don’t have 100 days to do a 100 wrought iron grind for a statue since people have lives and jobs outside of playing this game.

Maybe the reason it's so slow is because Tiana will have her own delivery quest for wrought ingot as well? (There's no way this girl won't come without her restaurent). Of course, we will only see with the next uptade.
I'm ignoring Remy for now in the (slim) hope GameLoft will adjust this madness. His quests are absolutely not worth the time and effort for the single bar of wrought iron I've gotten each time. I don't mind grinding, but not when the rewards are so out of bounds for it. This is ridiculous. With this, plus all the bugs, the constant crashing, a couple other key issues, and the insane amount they're charging in the Premium Shop, I think GameLoft needs to seriously compensate everyone, and not just a measly 500 moonstones. I've rage-quit this game so many times in the last two weeks alone. (Or, let's be honest, the game crashed and kicked me off, so I rage-didn't sign back on. Not quite the same satisfaction!) It's becoming almost unbearable to play at this point, which makes me sad, because I really do love this game--or the game it's supposed to be. But I play to relax and enjoy, not to have all these issues and stress. If this keeps up much longer, I'm going back to ACNH and staying there.
Honestly, if anyone REALLY wants these, duplicating the iron is the easiest way to go.
I cannot use the duplication glitch because I don’t have people coming over to my website and I don’t go to theirs. So it may be wonderful for you, but not for the majority of the people playing this game.

@heartstuck8613:pixel shards duplicates aren’t the way to go they are super slow at spawning and a lot of people don’t know anyone who plays the only fix would be the devs updating the Remy quests to have higher rewards or to add wrought iron in the crafting table since iron ingots from wrought iron don’t make sense if we can’t keep wrought iron in stock
This might not be so bad if we didn’t have other bugs keeping us from doing other things, like decorating or even just playing without crashing.

I honestly don't think this is a bug. It seems that over the last couple of updates Gameloft has been trying to add features that give us things to do every day, to increase engagement between updates and keep the game interesting. I personally don't mind it, in fact, I think it's pretty fun, as launching the game every day just in order to check the shop (and sometimes getting no new items), has become pretty boring at times. Having daily Daisy and Remy quests gives us something to do, and I appreciate that the game doesn't punish you if you do miss a day here and there.
I do think that maybe they should make the rewards more proportionate to the specific quests - E.g. if you get one that requires you to cook 10-20 dishes, you should get a reward on the higher side (say, 4-5 ingots) and vice versa.. But other than that, it seems pretty balanced and fair to me.

I thought I would be able to buy wrought iron from Scrooge once I finish the quest. Also, you have to be very careful and dump all of your wrought iron before you convert your iron ingots or you are totally screwed!
@Paula_Shelton:you can also lose them in your chests as well due to the crafting table having iron ingots as craftable with wrought iron the only you wouldn’t lose them is if you dumped them in your house on the ground not in a chest

We don't need to complete everything instantly. I think much like with Daisy's Boutique and how we have to buy every single base for the furniture any time we want to make 1, this is supposed to be something to tide us over between updates. Something to do for those people who complain there's no content. I mean, log on, get your blue chest, do a challenge, and then a delivery and there's 20 minutes probably of gameplay.
@ShellyTheCollector:a lot of people don’t have 100+ days to do quests for Remy for the restaurant for the statue though the chairs-fencing are more doable/less annoying than the statue one but honestly the wrought iron rates need to be upped there’s no need for a 1,2, and 3 wrought iron reward when you do 25 or a tiny bit more dishes for cooking. It also doesn’t feel like a permanent quest either

Have you seen the Vanelope storyline for Remy's uber eats? Apparently business owners are the evil villians in this game. I'm a small business owner and honestly, this villifying of us is beyond annoying. "Maybe if you lowered your prices, you wouldn't be such a villian?" What the heck? It feels like they're injecting politics into a video game.
Which is rich coming from a company that claimed it was going to be Free to Play, then changed it to pay only.
