Hi my loves!! Sharing a slow, calm video today. 🤍 A lot of you asked me to film my simple, minimal makeup routine so I wanted to share the step by step and all the products I love! Now, please BEAR WITH ME as I had NO mirror while filming this! 🤣Not the right lighting set up either, but well, since I am NOT a make up artist or a beauty content creator, I thought it would be nice to just share this with you. You will see my *REAL* skin, no filter or heavy makeup on. Hope this helps you do your own make up in a fun, simple and easy way! Love you all! You can easily shop the products shown on the side tab or simply click on the links from description box. :)
I loved this video Mila ❤ I’ve always admired how your makeup looks natural, polished and flattering. What I really like is that it lets your natural beauty shine. I am a minimal makeup wearer (actually I never wear anything except lip balm or gloss 😅 except on the rare occasion that I have an event to attend). When I put on makeup - and I mean a light and minimal amount - I feel that it looks mask like. But that’s me 😊 I feel best with moisturized skin, a bit of balm on my lips and my sunscreen to protect.
@@cristinafrancisco6773 thank you so much, Cristina!! Appreciate your kind words 🫶🏼 I’m with you and the less the better haha I have some acne and acne blemishes so the tinted moisturizer acts as my foundation and I don’t need to worry about sunscreen or moisturizer. It’s so lightweight and I don’t even feel I have anything on (what a great feeling, huh?)! I hope one day my skin clears up finally so I can just have a naked face again everywhere I go 🤣
Mila I really really love your haircut so so so much and you have such a wonderful wonderful earings you are my inspiration and I wish you have a lovely lovely week ahead 💖💖💖💖
Love this make up look Mila! So natural and beautiful. Could you tell me where you got your earrings and necklace from? Really want some subtle statement earrings and the necklace is so pretty. Love your channel. Thanks so much!
So pretty, Mila! Thank you for indulging my request! It was very helpful (especially the trick about brushing your eyebrows down first... I will have to try that) and is exactly my 'no make-up' makeup style for the summer. It just enhances your natural beauty! ( and I did get a laugh out of your age 13 eyebrow story.... I can just imagine!). 😊
💕💕💕 I’m always happy to get requests and fulfill them! Thank you! I love makeup but as you can see, I don’t love to apply a lot of it! 😂 No makeup makeup is the best indeed, especially for warmer months!! Yes that story from when I was a teen will be with me forever 🤣 I’m still terrified of my mom lol
@@milainnewyork yes I’ve tried it. It works great but don’t get it in your eye. I’ve tried her products too and I should order more! She’s so down to earth, snd her videos & shorts are hilarious!
I feel similarly about makeup. I didn't like the idea of preferring an artificial version of myself. Working from home I don't wear anything atm but when I do it's pretty similar to you.
I love it! I dont like to use a lot of make up either, I dont feel myself doing it. Im happy minimal makeup is a trend now (is it? Im not sure!) because Ive been doing it all my life! My makeup routine is very similar, I just use bb cream instead of tinted moisturiser. I do nothing to my brows, but this is just because I think Im lucky, they look good natural, I have never even depilate them. I do wear a little powder in summer, because theres too much humidity where I live, but I use one that isnt noticeable and its really light. You did a great job with the video not being a mua and not having a mirror! ❤
Oh thank you so much! 😂 not having a mirror was tough, a bit of a crazy video here but I guess it turned out ok!! Thank you so much for the feedback! I never tried a BB cream, but heard great things about it. Is there a brand you recommend? :)
@@milainnewyork yes, I think corean bb creams are the best! I love Erborian and Missha. The Erborian bb cream is hydrating, treatment, spf, and It has a very good coverage looking like your real skin, you feel like you are wearing nothing. I apply It with my fingers in seconds, its a holy grail for me!
Great video! Love how you explain things and love your style in general 😊 Question: why do you stop at the middle of your eye with the eyeliner? I am 25 and never know how to apply it nicely 😅
I'm so glad you enjoyed! Thanks so much for the feedback. The middle of the eye thing, I started doing that very young haha I think it follows my lashes in a natural way. When I apply the pencil all the way through, it defines my eyes a lot more and it feels like I'm wearing a lot of make up (I do that when I need real make up though). Just in general I prefer a natural style and stopping at middle makes it perfect for my eye shape/lash situation! lol
I used to have blemishes on the jaw line, it's hormonal Ithink. During my pregnancies they completely disappeared and my skin was flawless. Now after 40 I hardly ever have them anymore. A retinol and vitamin C serum also helps a lot.
I’m so glad to hear you got rid of yours! What a relief, huh? My acne is still active, but the topicals help. I do use retinol and vit C, they caused me more acne than ever in the beginning so I had to slow down and now I’m mostly on retinol 0.3/0.5. I think the key is to manage the hormones so the inside is cured first. It’s so hard to be a woman sometimes!! I started working on my hormones so hopefully soon it will all look and most importantly FEEL better! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️

Mila! We are makeup twins. I use all the same brands and products. I LOVE these products. I agree with you, I feel like me with these products.
Ohh that’s so nice to hear!! 🌸 These products are really great and they’re so minimal that feels were almost wearing nothing!! 💁🏻♀️
I love Dr. Shereen Idriss products ❤
Happy to find a “nerd” here haha She’s amazing and I love her products too! Have you tried the de-puffer? It’s the only product I haven’t tried yet

I also don’t like much foundation on my face sometimes I just use the concealer to cover some spot blend it blush eye mascara and good to go 😊
I love a good concealer!! ❤️
